No they aren't....I am trying my best to ignore them!

What did we do to bug anyone? Just harmless posting about bananas, pot PIES, naked children, a mass takeover of Cozumel, iPods, PC's vs. Mac's, McSteamy vs. McDreamy, DSHW, Dancing With The Stars, candy preferences, etc., etc. :rotfl:

My DH doesn't drink much. He drank alot "back in the day." Now he will just have a corona or 2 every now and then!

That makes me sick! How very pathetic and sad!

It makes me mad that he's making money off of this and I heard he's doing things with the money to insure that The Goldman Family can't get any of it. :sad2: I wish no one would buy the book but of course people will. :furious:

I've never quite understood what Lyme Disease does but from what I gather it's similar to MS (Multiple Sclerosis) type symptoms... so I assume muscle weakness, numbness, tingling, etc. I've been tested time and time again for Lyme Disease even though I don't recall ever being bitten by a tick, but the doctors believe I have MS but can't find signs of it in my MRI's or spinal tap. So they've started looking at other things- Lyme Disease, B12 deficiency, etc... so that's how I assume Lyme is like MS. I don't think it's deadly or anything but can be uncomfortable. :guilty: Maybe catching it early will help a lot also.
Thanks for the info Dody.

......Yes, we will have fun trying to compete with each other trying to snag the pirates at the 1000 and 10000 marks but let's let it end there. :)

Well said, Madame Leader! :goodvibes

::yes::

and I was quick enough to grab the camera when a Stealth flew over our house. This was at Nathan's 3rd birthday party. I special ordered the fly over! (At least that is what I told everyone :ssst: ) :lmao:

And that same afternoon they started doing the first work to build houses in the big field behind our house so all of this big construction equipment was working right behind our house. I told everyone I special ordered it as well. ;)

Very cool...

Nathan looks miserable. His fever is up to 102 and he just had that sick, pathetic look on his face. He is laying on the couch all covered up with a blanket (with only underwear on under the blankets of course ;) ) and watching Krypto the Superdog.

I gave him some Tylenol since it was not quite yet time for his next dose of Motrin. I hope he gets better soon. I hate it when my babies are sick.

:grouphug: There's nothing worse than having a sick kid. Breaks my heart everytime my kids get sick. :( DS goes to the doctor in 2 hours, I'm worried he has strep but he just came up to tell me his throat is feeling a lot better now.

Don't worry about it....there just mad because it's taken them 2 cruises to get as far as we (actually you guys, i just got here a month ago) did in 1 cruise :rotfl:

They're even talking about stealths like Becka's just no pictures.. Thanks Beck...

Is anyone decorating their stateroom for Christmas? :santa:

Been debating whether or not to bring a few things. The 2004 Christmas cruise....I brought a string of Disney-themed Christmas lights, etc......but it was actually over Christmas Day. Not sure I should drag it along this time. What do you think?? :confused3

Probably not ...got everything to decorate the balcony on the Miracle though the following week.

I am hoping we can have dinner at Grills in Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise. The food sounds good...has anyone been there? Will it be madness on a Friday night? We will try to eat fairly early but it may just depend on how long it takes us to drive.

Becka - that's where we usually go and I want to go there again!!!!

I need to get your cell number so we can get together on Friday night. Remind me where you are staying (opening up Lisa's site takes too long)....plus this works as a post!

What do you do with a kid who gets so upset taking medicine that he throws it right back up. I managed to get two doses of Motrin in him last night and this morning with fairly minimal upset but the sicker and worse he feels the harder it becomes to get him to take it. He just took 1/2 dose of Motrin and then got sick. Yuck! Thankfully we "caught" most of it but then he turns into a hysterical mess while I try to clean him and couch up. :sad2: I feel so bad for him but he really needs the meds. I will try again a little while leter. I did give him a Tylenol suppository to at least get some kind of medicine in him but they don't make Motrin suppositories and the Tylenol does not work as well at keeping his fevers down.

Does anyone else have a kid like this? What do you do? :confused3

DH would be glad if I didn't bring along the Christmas stuff......excess luggage makes him totally insane! :furious:

My DMom just called me. My brother was bit by a tic the other day. Last night he showed it to us and I told him to call his doctor because I thought it looked like lyme's disease. He went to the Dr. today. They are treating it like lyme's. He will take anitbotics for 3 weeks then get a blood test. I pray it isn't lymes...but it really looks like it is. Now I need to find out what happens to your body if you have it. :guilty:

DD13 got Lyme disease when she was 9 and turning 10. We didn't discover it until November when she couldn't walk one Monday morning --her ankle was really swollen. Thought maybe she had done something at soccer over the weekend. Went to the Dr., got xrays, etc. Dr decided to do a blood test for Lyme just on a hunch. Two days later--got the results. The swollen joints are stage 3 of Lyme... we never noticed a tic bite or the target rash, but it had probably happened back in August... DD had spent much of the fall being really tired, but we wrote it off to the crazy schedule (DS3 had been born that same August; no one was sleeping well!). Anyway, antibiotics for 3 weeks and all was well. Actually, the ankle was good enough to play soccer again that Saturday!

Yes but you don't develop friendships discussing stuff like that.... :sad2:

Oh bad memories here. Youngest DS did this -- would arch his body waaaaay back and just let the medicine dribble out of his mouth. :sad2:

We never did find a painless way to do it.....just slowly coaxed him into taking it. Those medicine "spoons" seemed to help a bit. And you know they're not cooperating because they feel so awful. Hang in there!! :grouphug:

Did someone say candy? :thumbsup2

I do have a candy confession. Last night I took some candy out of DS's Halloween bucket without his knowledge. A Take 5 bar, Whoppers and some peanut M&Ms. I am a bad WW'er as well as a bad Mommy. :sad2:

I will be bringing a few decorations from the dollar store to decorate for my DH's birthday. I will bring stuff that I can then throw away.
