I went to show DH the pictures of a sideways Cat 11 to show him the difference. The virtual stateroom tour actually has pictures of 6011 but alas it looks like there is no pull down bunk and we have to have one. Oh well.....

Jaea insists that she doesn't want to have a baby in her tummy. Today she told me she doesn't want to get married.

Of course I didn't want to get married either. and was pretty ambiguous on the baby issue for a long time. LOL.

I hate to push the grandma issue too hard though. alas.

We are staying at the Nick hotel on sat. nite after the cruise.

Is it too late to try and book dinner at WDW for that nite? I hadn't even thought of it since we aren't staying on property. We had such a great dinner at California Grill and saw the fireworks - it would be fun to take the kids there too.

Caroline - Did you get a sideways Cat 11? I wonder if we can trade rooms with DCL? Are you with DU? Maybe they could make that work. The sideways Cat 11's have the steamer trunk and that would be a big help for us. I might not even want to try to upgrade at the port then.....

Becka, you can't trade them through DCL..... Sideways 11's are only for 3 people. You have 4.

Caroline's spare room will only hold 3 and we have to have a room for 4. DD will be on the couch and DS will be up on the bunk. He is so excited about that part!

I have not told you guys about my first time have I? I always loved Disney and everything Disney and of course as a kid there was no place I wanted to go more than WDW or Disneyland and I wanted my own Dumbo ride just like in the commercials. Unfortunately my parents did not have the money and since Dad was in the Army and we moved all over the place we always spent our vacation visiting family back in Arkansas. When I was 11 my Dad got orders to go to Hawaii and since we were leaving out of LA my parents were going to take a few days and take us to Disneyland. I was so excited. Of course a few weeks later the orders were changed and we were going to Naples, Italy and leaving from Philadelphia. I was one crushed 11 year old.

Of course it was not long after DH ran me over with his bike that he learned about my desire to go to WDW. He jokingly told me within a month or so of dating that if we ever got married he would take me to WDW. When we got married we looked at WDW for our honeymoon but we were poor and it was a bad time. About 2 years later I was looking at taking a trip to the mountains in TN for a long weekend when DH suggested that I start looking into that WDW trip! I was so EXCITED!!!! We booked our trip for December 1999 and it was our "honeymoon" even though we had been married two years already.

DH was not overly excited at first and he thought my planning was kind of crazy but he knew it was a big deal to me. I was actually shaking at the airport before we got on the plane because I was so excited and he would just laugh at me. He was going for me and he really didn't think he would like it. By the end of our first day DH was the one saying We have got to come back!!! I knew I loved him for a reason!!!! I even got my Dumbo ride. I rode by myself and DH got it all on video! It is hilarious. I had the biggest grin plastered on my face and I didn't even care what others thought about a 23 year old riding Dumbo by herself. For that one ride I was that little girl who always wanted that ride. It kind of makes me get weepy even thinking about it. I am such a sap!!!

AAAWWW. Made me weepy too. That is a sweet story. I'm so glad he ran you over with that bike and made it all possible for you!
