Caroline's spare room will only hold 3 and we have to have a room for 4. DD will be on the couch and DS will be up on the bunk. He is so excited about that part!

Can I just share that Jaea's Kindergarten teacher nominated her for a spot on student council. Her first meeting is tomorrow and she is excited.

I'm so happy for her. I guess all that chatting does sometimes pay off. LOL.

HP - about 4 months old so I'm hoping that it might be built better to withstand these mishaps. It was an almost full glass of diet pepsi... and I didn't notice right away There was probably a good 10-15 seconds... my back was turned. My swivel desk chair actually knocked over the cup, as I turned around in my seat. Ugh. I usually don't even keep my glass where it was... it was just too much flukey stuff.

I wonder if I can get some good $$ on ebay for parts... the screen is gorgeous and still brand new!

From what I have heard, you are lucky it was diet. No sticky sugar to get inside. Hope it turns out OK.

OK I won't bore you guys with all the technical reasons why this was a problem but I think you will still get the gist of the story without all the technical mumbo jumbo.

Wake up as normal and I am in the bathroom getting ready to take a shower while DH is feeding the kids breakfast when the phone rings at 6:30. It is the automated problem system at work telling me in it's little computer voice that one of the programs in our payroll error shot (the test payrolls run to clear errors before the real payroll runs) abended.

Just look for a tall, dark, haggard man with 3 kids in tow! You can offer to help, slip in that you will be on the same cruise and wha la! (how the heck to you spell that???) DH knows someone!

Many times this same program will abend simply because there is a lock on the dataset because someone else is accessing it at the same time. I figure I will log on from home and check to see if it is a dataset lock before going back to get ready. If it is a dataset lock I know it can wait until I get into work. It is not a big deal.

I log on and no of course it is not a dataset lock but an error building the index for the payroll screens. What the heck could that be?

Of course being the genius I am I quicky realized that little easy quick change I made at work on Saturday while waiting for my friend involved those same screens and fields. Uh-oh! Well that is not exactly the same words I used but you probably understand.

I realize this could be a PITA to fix and I ask DH to take the kids into school so I can get working on this. Unfortunately DH forgot to take his happy pills or something and got really crabby about it because he would then be late. I tried to explain to him that this was a major production problem that would affect payroll but he was not really wanting to listen. He left for work mad and I continued to work for a while.
