Lisa, did your heart sink watching DHW tonight?!?! :sad2:
That new neighbor makes me sick. Why can't one normal person move into their neighborhood. I am just waiting for Bree's DH to freak out!

That last scene made me ill! :furious: Why not just call the cops & lock up that SOB? :furious: :furious: :furious:
I agree!!! They choose sensative topics but then don't handle them the way any normal person would handle it. Seriously..why would she just happen to be in his house writing a note anyway. As my DH would say...it is TV...not real world.

The cruise will be warm, FL in Dec you just never know. I plan to weather.com a week before we leave to see what it looks like. First 2 times we went we were in shorts the whole time and did not even need a sweatshirt at night. :sunny: In 2004 Dec we almost froze and had to buy windbreakers to go over our sweatshirts.
The week we were there over Christmas some days we were in tank tops and others we wore Sweatshirts all day. We generally wore sweatshirts every night.

Last year we were in sweatshirts & coats. We pack it all in the car to make sure. That's what is nice about driving. :)
I have so many things I want to pack this year...aahhh...I am afraid I will be out of room...and quickly!

UGH!!! It's not going to be pretty here at 7 am. :(
My DD was up at 7:30 and my DS was up at 7:50. We will be spending the day at home cleaning and straightening. We do need to make a trip to the post office.

I wish we could find somone instead of kenneling . . . I know Lexi always has the runs the first couple days at the kennel. She is a scamp, but she is also a fraidy cat, and I don't think she takes real well to new situations. Even at doggy day care she jumps at the window when I drop her off as I drive away.

Casey used to get pretty upset beign at a kennel....THat and i'd have to always pay extra for them to walk her becasue she won't go on concrete. She'd hold it for days and days if she had too... Too housebroken.....

Anyhow, Now that we have two dogs it's cheaper and easier to have a petsitter come to the house a couple times a day. With Casey i used to have someone come in twice but with Abby still pretty much a pup...We have three times a day....

They get a walk and get played with and stay in their home environment.....When we come home their glad to see us but pretty much not stressed at all. Petsitter also alternates lights on and such and brings in the mail for us. If i didn't have a black thumb, they would water plants too..

We talked to MIL this afternoon and her proceedure is at 5 pm tomorrow, not am. They are using the lasers to give her intense radiation to kill the tumor that has shut off her kidney. It isn't as dangerous as if they were doing lasers to cut the tumor from her spine but it could still mess up & damage her kidney even more.
:grouphug: I hope everything goes well for her.

What am I doing up?! Wrapping presents. I'm nuts. I should be in bed but I thought I would come here instead and catch up since Friday.

I like to steam vegtables in the microwave too. This way we can eat fresh vegetables and they are ready quickly and you don't lose as much nutrients as boiling. I put in a little bit of water and cover with plastic wrap leaving a small vent. The steam is very hot when you remove them so be careful.
I do this with green beans, sugar snap peas, asparagus, broccoli. It allows the vegetables to be crisp and not soggy.

I think it works the least well with asparagus because I like my asparagus to be perfect. and if you miss the timing the asparagus can get droopy.

Asparagus does not thrill me. When I was a kid I loved it..but somewhere along the way I lost my desire to eat it. Broccoli is a different story. We have that at least 2 times each week. Jake and Jason both love it. I enjoy it but they love it!

You never know what you are going to get in central FL in December!

We've gone last two years around same time in Dec..... We were pants or capris and alternate between t-shirts during day and sweats at night. However, there were days when we had sweats during day too...

On night last year...It was so hot...around 70's that we wore our t's into the night too and were still warm from waling around epcot.

Brandi - I'm not sure if you have Michaels craft store or not - but they carry Thomas and have 40% off coupons for one item. I bought several of the larger train set pieces this way. Also, Kmart used to carry Brio which is quite a bit cheaper and some of the track accessory pieces are more interesting. We got a station house where you can record a track announcement in your own voice. Giona always loved that one.

I have gotten several trains at Michaels and AC moore. We actually bought a 100 dollar set at AC Moore with a one day 50% off of one item. We got him the big roundhouse last christmas. I like buying him the Thomas stuff because he really likes to play with it.

No. DD usually stayed in her dress from dinner. We go out on deck 9 to watch a movie or just walk and sometimes DD wears a sweater if she has a sleeveless dress on because the wind gets a little wild when you are moving along out at sea.
My kids will probably stay dressed. It depends on what we have planned. When Jake was a 7 mo on our last cruise. We would put him into his PJ's after dinner. He would fall asleep in the show every night and then we would just push him around sleeping.

What an evening to watch a show I have only watched once and that was last year. Holy smokes! Exactly why didn't she call the police. That was crazy!
We are all wondering the same thing.

I can't remember off of the top of my head...I will have to find my paper. It is close to 5. We generally eat early. We are all accustomed to that time...so I tried to get all of my ADR's for that time.

I guess I am going to go and finish my dishes and start some laundry. I wish I had someone to baby sit my dis kids so I could clean. I know that is crazy, but as soon as I get one place clean they have it messed up. Not dirty messy...but stuff pulled out messy.
