OK, enough levity at my expense.

I have to draw the line somewhere.

Banana suits - OK - Speedos - NO - and I do not want to be responsible for Andy's nutrition.

I log on and THIS is the first post I see. What all did I miss?

For all you with bathroom issues....

WOMEN AND PUBLIC TOILETS

My mother was a fanatic about public toilets. When I was a little girl, she'd bring me in the stall, teach me to wad up toilet paper and wipe the seat. Then, she'd carefully lay strips of toilet paper to cover the seat. Finally, she'd instruct, "Never, never sit on a public toilet seat. And she'd demonstrate "The Stance," which consisted of balancing over the toilet in a sitting position without actually letting any of your flesh make contact with the Toilet Seat. But by this time, I'd have wet down my leg and we'd go home.....

PS - The answer to the other question, "Why do women go to public bathrooms in pairs?" is "So the other woman can hold the door and hand you Kleenex."

This is one of my favorites. The version I know islonger and involves hanging the bag around your neck because there is no hook in the bathroom stall. This cracks me up because who hasn't experienced at least one of these things. I told this to my daughter in a parable form vs. joke and everytime she uses the bathroom she says Mom, tell me about the lady who had to put her bag around her neck..Tell me about the time you had to do it" :lmao:

That new wage will apply to middle and high school babysitters as well. I don't know what the rates are in your area, but it will be quite a shock to parents around here.
We pay $10 to start!

Well, I haven't.

Very easy to get that Cheetah speedo down while standing.

I'm jumping around because I haven't had a chance to read in ages.
John - sorry to hear about the levy. We have the same issue and so does my sister. "I've raised my kids" vs. "I have kids now" The fundamental issue that everyone forgets is the community aspect. Yes, your kids have been raised but when they were younger they did have these things and it does effect your property value to have a good school district because when you retire that is your additional savings. It is shocking how ugly it becomes though...and it becomes a "that's your problem" not a community problem.

John you've done Cheetalicious (loved the photos!) are you ready for High School Musical? I posted that their concert is coming. You can do it again!

Suzanne, I haven't caught up on all but  pixiedust:

Okay back to reading. I'm trying to skim but when an older post is referenced I need to go back anyway - I just need to find out where I left off. I think I'm hesitant to do that because it will be gads of pages.

oops, sorry Karen I should have split this all up...right?! :confused3

Yeah, a line has to be drawn somewhere. Its horrible when things go too far.

For the record, I only responded to the idea of the speedo thing...that kind of thing doesn't cross my mind on its own... :rolleyes1

:rotfl: How did I know you would post saying that about the bathroom. I almost (I swear) put in a qualifier (what woman John, not men). You are too funny!

LOL - re the sig - you noticed! I'm getting a chuckle entertaining myself with it. I miss living on my cruise ship condo like Eloise though... :rotfl2:

May I say again how much I detest MS Project.

MS Project is great for the "perfect world"...you know, when clients stick to their deadlines and don't throw in higher priority projects that mess up the schedule. Been there, done that...tried to use it and ended up flying by the seat of my pants...

and Lisa - I am assuming we need $100 cash for the ruins tour? I checked their website but don't see anywhere you can pay ahead of time, unless I am missing something.

And Todd - how many jeeps are actually going on your tour? Will that be all cash as well?

Exactly!

I am trying to work my budget here....I am spending way too much and we haven't even boarded yet!

Well John’s post is a little more innocent that I first thought. My first thought was that some of you last night may have been “gathering by the river” a little too long! :lmao:

Karen – I never did tell you yesterday that I loved your jokes. I didn’t comment on them but I was :rotfl: about many of them. They made me smile!

Hmmm stopped at 3205 reading from newest to oldest. Last book mark was 3178 but I had caught up after that so I imagine 3178 was again reading newest to oldest. So basically I have no clue what I have and have not read.

Nathan’s day at school was better yesterday but he still seems in a crabby mood. I think he has preschooler PMS. :sad2: What is worse is that I have Mommy PMS and it is not a good combination… :rolleyes1 He gave the flower to the little girl when she got to school and she really loved it and his teacher said that the Mom really appreciated it as well. I am glad the little girl felt better and I hope that Nathan learned a good lesson from all of this.
