I went through OT several times and all the stuff I had....to keep the kiddos busy. Really I think they will be fine -- and hey if they run all around the dining room disturbing others - who cares?

and Haley only has her binky at nap and bedtime. I can safely say as a SECOND time MOM I am the WORST.as in lazy...all around. I am not sure I have an up to date book, but she is well loved and has to be with her ma ma mommy all the time!

Update on DS:

We took $5 out of his bank and went to the craft store where he picked out a very big pretty pink flower. It also had a little smaller pink flower attached to the same stem. DS made the comment that now she would have two flowers. He really did seem to feel sorry and it took him a while to pick out the flower he wanted. He seemed to be putting some thought into it although he was a little upset that they did not have the "exact" flower he tore up. I will take all of this as a good sign that he understands what he did was wrong and that he really was mean to this little girl. He will give it to her tomorrow morning when he gets to school. It costs him $2.68 - not a whole lot of money but I think just the act of taking his money to pay for it will make an impression on him.

That is a lot of money to him.

We have the option. They give us a paper and we check the box that says requested no consult and the pharmacist is off the hook.

The patient can decline, but the pharmacist has to make the appearance and make the offer.

I've had some very bad news tonight. One of my dearest friends lost her younger brother in an accident last week. I only found out tonight. Very very sad. I just called and left her a message. I feel terrible.

So sorry to hear of this tragedy, Vanessa.

I just left her a long message of prayers and thoughts. I wasn't sure what else to do but felt I needed to call.

That really is all you can do. Let her know you care and are there if she needs you.

OK, whose fault is it that we are half way to 48000 this afternoon??? I spent the day catching up with Kathryn and returning carnival stuff that wasn't opened to WM. I picked up Cars so the kids should be good tonight. I will be able to catch up here.

I'll go back to catching up but wanted to say hi first... today I took DS to preschool, went to work, filled up the van, ate lunch, cleaned a bit, went to the post office (watch out Kim and Kristina), went to the dry cleaners, went to Wawa and went to vote (absolutely no line at my polling place).

No line here either, although it was jumpimg a bit more than when I usually go; later. We even got new machines this year!

I was wondering the same thing earlier. I figured that everyone was watching Cars with their kids so I did more of the ironing.

I got Cars and Little Mermaid but they are for Christmas.

It is approaching 1:00, and we still do not have total results, but it appears we have a margin we will not overcome, and our levy will fail. It will be a sad day for our school district, which has done everything right, but I guess the voters are just tired of additional tax.

All field trips will remain cancelled
22-28 MORE teachers will need to be cut
busing will be extremely curtailed
Pay to Participate fees will rise by 50%

AND it will probably be impossible to maintain student achievement with the loss of those teachers.

It is a sad day for our district

Ohio needs another solution.

My son will be thrown out of the kids club... Now after using the bathroom, he comes running out with no underwear, no pants, no socks, no shoes. And he dances and says, "I have pants on!!"

Must be an emperor's new clothes kind of thing.

At least he remembers to wash his hands.

I'm sure he will be fine. Why do most kids go through this? Heck, Dina comes home and has to strip within 10 minutes.

That is terrible news John. I still don't quite know what a levy is and what the difference is with how your distict pays for schooling as compared to ours, but cuts like that are crazy! Even if our budget fails to pass on a vote, there is no way anything that extreme could happen. I wonder if there were a lot of voters out that wouldn't normally be, and they didn't understand the consequences? Hope things somehow work out to the best of their abilities.
