Let's see . . .

If I buy them now, then DW will say I only bought them because I listen to my internet friends more than I listen to her . . .

If I don't buy them, she will say, why don't you listen when everyone tells you this is what you should do - you don't listen to anyone.

This is defined as a "can't win" situation. :confused3
(that should be in parenteses)
For those of you without spouses on the Boards - you are much smarter than me!

:sad2:

It's not about winning, it's about biting the bullet. :rolleyes1

Let's see....we have a few teachers, PTO moguls, School Board reps, scout leaders, accountant, medical personel, grocery managers, bankers...this could work. It could be our own DISopia!!! :thumbsup2
There was 640 acres for sale in Montana and we thought about getting a group of really nice people together and starting our own town. :thumbsup2 This DIS group would definately qualify! :grouphug:

Morning!

Anyone interested in a Disney Store Captain Jack Sparrow costume, size XXL, new with tags? DH decided he wasn't going to do the costume thing.... I don't think I can return it...

Sorry Joy, I think I can get DH to wear "something," but not a full costume.

Think it over in the Safe House. You'll figure a way out of this! :teeth:

I need to start getting more things OUT of the house than what is coming IN. Even DH has turned a corner on this one.
Please, please share how you made this happen. ;)

This fits right in with my last post . . .

Angie and Dennis, how do you live in peace with both of you on the DIS?

John1
I give him whatever he wants, serve him breakfast in bed and do a nightly shoulder massage. Easy! ;) :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

With DH? It's not that he will stop bringing in things for himself. He really doesn't have much anyway. It is that he finally realised the girls don't NEED so much. He used to get them a lot of "just because" things, but now he wants to limit gifts to 2 each on major holidays. :rotfl:

MrsMork woke me with pancakes, eggs, and coffee....in bed. How sweet was that? Blueberry pancakes.  So I ate 'em and fell back into a coma.

How sweet!!!! She's a keeper!!!

Blueberry pancakes for one son and chocolate chip for the other EVERY Saturday and Sunday morning....EVERY weekend. My kids are lucky I love them so much.

Actually DH doesn't collect anything or have many outside interests. His biggest problem is losing things and that includes tools. They somehow get "lost" or ruined between here and work. Hopefully the garage will fix this. Although he has already filled up some of it with stuff for the restaurant. He does like to buy stuff that we will need "eventually" though. We have two different lamp posts that he never decided on which one he wanted and never got put up.

I'd be interested in the Baldric Part....(sword belt) My dh already has a costume. Well it's in the works at least..

Shoot i have to get that stuff together and mail to my mom....

Does anyone know the difference between a whole house water filter and a water softener? :confused3 We have well water that is beginning to have a smell to it at times and need something for the iron too.

Oh Amy . . .

Are you reading dear?

(and the first person who gives me yellow crocks goes overboard BTW)

I'm thinking an island in the Bahamas.....

DH and I were in the addition today trying to figure out lighting. I used to want to design and build my own house, but there is no way we would ever finish! I have learned though that after I give DH an opinion on something, if his first reaction is negative, to just give him time to think about it and he eventually sees my point! :thumbsup2

But you need to go back and read on how this is reciprocated...
