DH thinks he has decided on a new camera. He wants the Canon S3. I think that is the same camera you bought, right PJ? He wants to buy it soon so he has a few weeks to practice before the trip.

Yep, that is the one I bought, I was playing with the fun stuff and one is having just one colour show up and the rest black and white, it is really fun.

I need to decide on a quick dinner idea for tomorrow. Does anyone have any fun, quick and easy Halloween-y dinner ideas? I don’t really do “theme” dinners….too close to crafy type behavior…but maybe something small.

French Dip ordered from the local grocery store and fruit salad.

Ty will be the concierge

Ophra will be there for emotional support
All other participating celebrities will have to wear banana suits.

Can someone explain this to me? Do I understand that we start in Kim's rooom and then visit each Dis'ers room for a different wine? Or do we all bring wine to Kim's and drink it there, then stumble around to the various staterooms? Also dh will bring wine, but I'm providing Flying Gorillas! Is that ok or will it offend the wine buffs? I don't drink much wine, I'm a champagne and frou frou drinks kind of girl.

I would have never known that. All the CD's I have (as well as collections) are "pictures" on the cover and I am bad about even opening them to look inside. His music will always hold a special place in my heart....

OK I am glad that this day is almost over with! DD went beserk and started throwing everything in her sight around because I said no cookie before dinner. OY! DH got home soon after that but I had to go to Church for a meeting for first communion parents tonight. That ran a little long. Then DD didn't want to go to bed...well not in her bed anyway...so that made bedtime ... well ... challenging. It was then bill time and of course the ISP went out. Cable was out for a little bit here too. Good thing there isn't anything major on TV tonight. Now I am going to try to sprint thru the posts to catch up. I am already tired!

What a nasty day. Sorry, relax grab some and enjoy some DIS.

I don't know Becka - seems kinda obvious and she said she doesn't like crocs. Initially I thought the same but Lisa knows there are a bunch of detectives here so I would imagine she would know to open another tab and post in another thread the same time Kelly posts. I don't know though she is pretty tricky.

Thanks! I am really glad that they are going to school tomorrow morning. I have to go in and talk to the school counselor. It seems that DS is still upset with his Daddy and has been telling fibs...or has been "getting mixed up in his mind" as he says. OY BOY!!! He had no idea what the results of those fibs would be. Thank God she talked to me first since she knows me. When I sat him down to talk to DH about it he suddenly didn't want to talk about it. He ran out of the room because he was embarrassed. He spent the weekend with a tummy ache & head ache...I think from he guilt after I told him what CPS does. He isn't looking forward to going to school tomorrow but knows that I have already emailed the counselor & she is expecting to hear from him. This turned us upside down this weekend.

So, no I really am not in the mood to pretend to be someone else. There are times this week when I wished I was someone else though.

Forgot how tricky the preschool Halloween events are. Take DS to preschool in costume, but try to fit the regular clothes under the costume. Label all costume parts, and send in a labeled bag for the costume. They will do a parade outside for parents at 9:30 (preschool starts at 9). Then they will help them change and pack up costumes before having the party!
And I'm sending in some fruit for the party (hey, I know, I was assigned FRUIT!) I decided to cut up cantaloupe chunks; at least that's kinda orange.
