ok so after my griping that my fellow Minnesotans just don't get the DCL concept, I went on and on to my friend today about the planning, the DIS board, the various activities, etc. She was so excited, she can't wait until they can come along with us. Hopefully next year! She was really excited about the Hummerzine too. Talking about it made it seem more real, only 6 weeks away, can that be??

We spent the afternoon at the Ohio State game - beat Minnesota 44 - 0. So still Number 1.

When the Oregon State score went up - big cheer in the Ohio stadium. Oregon State beat #2 USC. Was that the problem?

At the Halloween party last night we were talking to some friends (their son went to Kindergarten with Sophia) and found out they had been on a Disney cruise. Guess which one? The one where the Magic caught on fire! They were your shipmates.

Another DIS degree for separation.

That cruise was our first one and it was pre-DISBoard. We haven't kept up with anyone from the cruise.

We were in line at Pirates at around 11:30pm Thursday, me, the girls my sis and her boyfriend. Johhny ran up through the crowd and half the group behind us were taking pics and getting their autograph books ready thinking it was JS.....it was a trip!

This was a great trip....VERY VERY crowded. Spoke with lots of locals who felt the same. Dining plan is really ruining the TS experience...I know flames...The BBB --- SOOOO overbooked (we waited 45m for our appt) and for the big package price....not worth it.

I am sad to leave...we really had a great time. Went on Nemo....stayed at the parks day and night, not something we normally do, went to ESPN...had a bigger blast.....and the GATORS WON!!

everyone at the office thinks I am very rich and very silly.

At our office they know we aren't rich but sometimes they think that we are pretty silly for having this addiction.

I explain to them just what you said ..... it is a choice and we choose to save for these and have fun.

Yes - got your message....but too late. our flights are at 59 which is great. I need to load that DINGee thingee...haven't done that yet. The only time I use my home computer is for Dis. I use the computer too much at the office...have no interest in getting on at home.

Now back to the main issue - there are a slew of Ty Pennington threads started on many Dis boards. Go check out the main cruise board.

I'm just trying to figure out what is going on. It is drivign me bonkers.

In a couple of weeks we will all be getting ours. Better safe than sorry. We provide them at work free to everyone, and I just wish more would take advantage of the opportunity.

Our office is paying for all but $10 of the cost. It's a great deal. Ours is this Tuesday.

our Fairygodmother got us at 3:40pm
we were done with costume, hair, makeup and nails and "photo shoot" and back at our resort room from DTD to see the rest of the second quarter.
AND they used my sweet Haley, as a mascot to show off the shoes!

Which, time line was FINE...actually I called earlier in the day to cancel and they said I would pay the full package price to cancel. When I got there I asked again and I would have been able to cancel yet Samantha's face wouldn't let me.It was chaos and I felt like a cattle call going through there. And previously we were there on the 4th of July. Much busier time.

While I do believe it would be amusing to see a man running down to the beach in a big banana suit, I must admit that I need to draw the line somewhere. I may not have much need for dignity, but, that suit would probably be too hot, and impair my blazing speed running down to the family beach.
