Hows it going, DH just got home so I dont have much time left as I have been fixing dinner also. I scored a bunch (16) books the other day. Th habitat for humanity store had all you can fit in a orange bag for a buck. They are smaller novals but I thought they wont take me as long to read them.

Brenda, I get to ride the subway each and every work day, so I like the skinny book for the ride, lol. I like harlequin presents and blaze, but If I bring them on the ship, I will make a book cover, lol. I can read one in about 3 hours for the shorter ones and 5 for the longer ones. They are junk food for the brain and chocolate for the heartstrings,

Angie and Brack, you guys convinced me on the Disney Visa. I just went to apply.. and found a $50 gift card bonus so that was a happy perk! And while at the disney store I found PJ's for all the family for Christmas Eve... gotta have the matching Mickey jammies!

Now I am afraid y'all will convince us to buy into DVC too -- I am easily persuaded, not so sure about dh.

Roundtrip airfare for 4 non-stop from Kansas City to Orlando on Southwest for our dates right now is $468.xx.

What do I do? We also could fly in Thursday evening for the same price and stay at WDW and visit a park on Friday if we wanted. Of course we would have the added hassle of the car seat, rental car, less luggage, etc.. What should we do?

Fly down and do a day at the park!!!! Then your kids will get at least a little Disney ride fix!!!!

you guys have me thinking I should get the Disney Visa. I usually use a Northwest Airlines card but it's like that commercial with David Spade, I want to use the miles and they say NO. Actually they say sure, but it will cost you 50k miles per ticket instead of 25k. Totally bugs me. I've started using my Amex now just cuz the points are more usable. But a lot of my vendors still don't take Amex, even though it's btb (argh), so I need some kind of visa or mc. Questions for those who have this card:

1. Can you use the points to pay for your DCL cruise, or just for your stateroom account?

2. Do they ever offer bonuses for signing up, or do I just go ahead and get one now to start racking up the points?
