Thanks Andy. I turned off NIS and then it worked. Of course I turned it back on and so far so good. My only problem is I get the warning popups alot now.

If the warning popups are asking if "Ding is allowed to access the internet", choose "allow" or "always" or whatever...that should tell the NIS that it is a good thing...then again, its better safe than sorry - getting the warnings from NIS just shows its doing its job.

Ebay update from my rant last night.....

The seller sent an email to the ebay account saying she didn't know they were for holiday and that kids were sick and she sent email earlier in the week..... (well we never got an email)

Anyway i saw first that she refunded our money.....(so i took that to mean that she was keeping the item) Then i notice in the other email that she was sending them and refunding the money..........

That's nice.... Worthy of good feedback....

I'll see how they are when we get them....

I'm thinking of giving at least half of the money back though....

All I have to say is you better not think you get a break because you are a celebrity. You have to wear the lime green shirt like everyone else, get a pirate flag, salute our CJS, wear Spanx on formal night, learn the official pirate greeting, race to the beach, bring your own fluff, rent your own jeep at Coz (will you be in Coconuts book?), see if there is room for another bus for the ruins tour, bow to our queen and supreme ruler Lisa, and most importantly, honor the big dancing banana!

Oh, and please do leave that Notre Dame loving grumpy Regis at home.

Usually we don't go to the dance things at Studio Sea because they are rather boring. With all of the DIS kids there it might just be worth a visit or two.

It pains me to say this......but I'm back at the Library. A snafu with BB. They have to retrieve my data off the old hard drive before we initiate the laptop exchange. Of course, the Geek City place (where poor laptop has been all this time ) is closed on the weekends. Still nothing yet today.


So, settling in to try to catch up a bit.

All of the children in Halloween costumes are too cute! I haven't been around in a while, but I have been trying to check in and see whats been happening!

I think we are finally getting excited about the cruise. Paul and I have been talking about getting pirate costumes and such, we are way behind, but I am so glad that he is on board with that. He was even telling his family to get costumes

So, whats up with at the celeb's?????????

My Dh and I both had waterbeds when we met. We had one as our bed when we got married for about 2 years. We both had backaches all of the time! When we finally got a "real" bed we got one with the pillow top mattress. It has been a dream ever since! Bye bye backache!

I had a double bed, pretty good quality when I met DH. I would wake up in the middle of the night in severe pain like a pinched nerve running up & down my back. I would cry myself back to sleep. He had a water bed. I haven't experienced that pain since. It was great when I was pregnant too. I am a tummy sleeper & with the help of a couple extra pillows in the last couple months, I was very comfy.

I must admit, I am with Carl on this one (GASP!).

It's another one of those guy things I think . . .

We men are more surface-oriented. Women will more often look below the surface and be attracted to attributes other than looks (I am speaking when they don't really know the person, but know about them). Of course they usually THINK they know the person, and why they are attracted . . . witness that cheerleader and the quarterback. I could give lots of real life examples too.

Most men initially have a "one-track" mind mindset.

I don't think there is one UGLY female celebrity that looks like a heroin addict that I would be attracted to in any way. You won't see many guys chasing after the likes of Janet Reno either . . .
(tried to think of an example similar to Steven Tyler, but all I could come up with is Janet Reno)

Marielle, those costumes are absolutely adorable!! Did you make them? I bought ds a Captain Feathersword costume last year for Pirate Night and it was nowhere near that as far as quality. So impressed!

Of course it works well!
Just lightly press the end of the Tide Gel Pen to the stained area, to release the stain remover, color out the stain, let it dry (which will take about 10 minutes )

Stain is gone...and ummm...I need that pen back.

The Tide people gave me just one.
