I have my pooh luggage out and I am starting to pack, I am so ready to go.

John will probably pack Dec 3. he is such a last minute person for everything!!

Seeing suitcases sitting out would drive his Type A personality crazy!! we had all the moving boxes out of our house in under 10 days.

Haha - I am a Type A personality also! That's why I am not good at sitting here waiting for the time to pack. I like to get things done as soon as possible!

Packing??? ROFL. probably after Thanksgiving. i'll let michele do that, cause she's got a plan. i don't have a plan (i sound like the joker from The Dark Knight). the only plans I have are having the drink of the day on Dec 4 around 2 pm

We have another Thanksgiving dinner , we are hosting, this weekend......then we need to get into cruise packing. For me it is not what to take, but what fits, lol

Not packing yet, but making lists. We still have a trip to Las Vegas next month to prepare for...then the cruise.
Lion King was GREAT, I could see it over and over. Twice is not enough.

PACKING- I actually came on to post the same question. It's getting cool here in N.Y. and my daughters dressers need to be emptied of summer clothes and packed w/ winter. So what I bagan today was, I emptied summer clothes in the dressers, put clothes in bags for good will, put clothes in bins to store and put clothes in luggage for cruise Why store them all only to go through them again? Last time I went on the Magic was 2 yrs ago same time (DEC)...I packed shorts, skirts, bathing suits, flip flops and sandles for my girls OH and a couple of sweater/hoodies...It was kinda cool on the cruise even on CC. I'm actually trying to remember on nights that aren't formal, did my daughters wear shorts to dinner...hmmmmm? Anyway, I'm very excited I can't wait for this cruise. Christmas time on the boat is so nice.
BTW....my 10 (Kayla) and 11 (Gianna) yr old daughters would love to make friends prior to sailing emails/ im's/ phone calls...it really does make the kids feel so much more comfortable and excited to socialize. It's not easy walking up to another child to make friends ...this breaks the ice. Anyone interested?

I'm not sure it counts as packing..but I have had a box ready to go since we came off 2 years ago

I also put aside summer stuff for my daughter and I when we were switching from shorts to fall clothes. I have bought a few outfits to wear formally for me and Sianna (I've gotten smaller, she has gotten bigger..) Mike is basically the same size and can fit in what he's got.

Fish extender gifts - done
Kid car entertainment - purchased and hiding to 'pop out' as a surprise when we start down south.
wetsuit - done

may get snorkel gear down at ocean front with end of the year sales.. but we'll see.

I'm also looking forward to the Main Street Electrical Parade! I missed it when I went to DL last year, so I'm happy to be able to see it this year.

Donald...we got to see the Main Street Electrical parade as part of Summernightastic .........and loved it. We can't wait to see it again as well. Add in MVMCP and Candlelight Processional, first time for both, and I say And all of that is after a fantastic Cruisin Nuts voyage

I've see the Candlelight Processional and am doing the package again -- it is fantastic!

The first time I saw it as part of the package, Phylicia Rashad was supposed to be narrating but it got changed shortly before our trip --

Mac would love another pre cruise friend. She emailed Abby in New York a little. PM me and I'll give you her e mail. She made a couple of friends before our last cruise and it made it so much more fun for her!

the final days for the FE count are winding down. Still havent heard from 2 cabins..... the one I am taking as a NO, since I sent them 2 different emails with no reply.

the other...I do not have an email for.. but just sent them a PM.

it looks like our count will under 100 people.

I am glad I am not on the Magic this weekend... our cruise 2 years ago we were the first ones on when the Magic came back from drydock. The dining service was slow at first...everyone had a few weeks off and they werent back into their routine. and there were a bunch of lil details here and there..nothing that ruined my cruise at all though!

Is anyone else staying at the Country Inn and Suites. I stopped by AAA today for a driving map and ended up using them to book me Friday night there. I LOVE the fact they will let me park the car there for $20 total versus $15 a day. The night was a tid bit more expensive, but well worth the savings in parking, plus it is suppose to be a nice place and they have shuttle to go to the terminal. Of course the bad part is I won't control when we get to the terminal..but hey, I need to let go of some of my control issues anyway

No, this is only our 2nd cruise and none the first time.. I will certainly take one if they are handing them out
