Just visited travelocity. Plugged in my dates (2/12 to 2/19). They quoted $117.99 for a compact through Budget. I should snag this, huh?

$117 with tax etc? We're paying $110 before taxes, etc and $150 after for Alamo for 8 days...Jan 21 (11 am) through Jan 28 (4 pm). If it's with..it's great!

I am comparing a car rental with Tiffany Town Cars and I can't justify renting. The taxes alone are either $43 (offsite car rental) or $59 for a rental company at the terminal. This is for a one week rental. Add on gas, and tolls and its a lot of money, even for a cheapo rental rate. We don't HAVE to have a car - we're staying onsite. I like having car, because I'm a control freak, and I like the option of driving. However, I'm having a hard time justifying the cost for this trip!
