11 year old babysitting?

Yes, I would and I did. I have a very responsible 11 year old and we left him and his younger sister in a room with a balcony. They understood the rules, texted us when needed and stayed put. I think they enjoyed the responsibility and the trust we gave them to be alone on the ship. And for them to lay on “mom and dad’s bed” and watch a movie was fun for them. I also agree that you have to know your kids and what they are capable of handling.

I would maybe do it without a balcony, but I would NOT allow them to eat in there on their own. I'd be worried about someone choking at those ages. Kids like to horse around when mom and dad aren't around and I can imagine kids eating while jumping on the bed or something and someone choking. I'd get them settled with a movie and strict instructions to stay put, and come back no more than an hour later. I'd probably check in after 30 min, though.

Yes - thinking of the 11yo neighbor being w 9yo and 5yo GS.
No - thinking of 11yo neighbor being with 8yo neighbor and 5yo GS.
Depends on the mix.

For an hour maybe if the younger ones were sleeping and you made it clear to the 11 yr old not to leave the cabin or answer the door he make sure they know how to use phone

Nope. I wouldn't consider it. Besides, they can camp out in front of a TV at home. Why not allow them to go to the kids club so they experience something fun and different while you are having fun? Win win for all. Kids aren't stuck in a room and you can go out.
