We just can't wait to go! My mom and neice are joining us on this cruise, they booked a rom on deck 7.

OK, I asked for and got early dining!!!! Now, what table size???? Personally, I enjoy meeting others. Of course, that can back-fire!! My DH is a bit on the shy side and would probably prefer a table for 4, as we are a family of 4...

I cannot wait until this cruise!!!!! It's going to be so much fun. My next door neighbor has been 3 times, so she's a font of info.

We will be staying at Bay Lake Towers from 10-30 until the day of the cruise. Is anyone else going to the Parks first???

Omalley- you can request a table to yourselves if you wish but i'd gather you'd be at a table for either 6 or 8. They try to put people with similar family sizes or kids ages etc but if you get onboard you could ask to change if you find that its not a good fit.

Also I live 1 exit away from WDW so if there were a Pre Cruise Meet I would be up for one!

We finally told the girls (DD13, DD9, and DD4) about the trip, and watched the planning DVD last night.

I really stressed that a lot that happens on a cruise depends on the weather. So if we didn't get to go to CC (heaven forbids a thousand times) they will be disappointed but not completely taken by surprise.

But they are so so so excited!

DH keeps acting like he doesn't want to go (boats/ships really do make him nervous), so they kept pointing out things they thought he'd like -- menu items, the sports bar, etc. He would say things like, "Oh, I don't like steak anymore, so I'm not going" and "I've decided sports are boring so I don't want to go to a sports bar." What a dork.

So, I'm starting my trip-planning binder. I think I'll go to Hobby Lobby tonight to but some nautical-themed paper!

Hi folks. Just found this thread, we booked about two weeks ago and this will be our second cruise. Staying in a cat 6 with a veranda which was a must for us. Our first cruise was with DVC points in a cat 4 but we did cash with Dreams Unlimited this time. We prefer the early dining so we get into the show then have time after to walk the decks. The DW and I sat at a 6 person table with two other couples the whole cruise. The other couples had done cruises before and gave us many great tips. We were disappointed with Nassau and probably won't leave the ship this time when in that port. We are really looking forward to Castaway Cay and all the improvements.

Welcome!!!! Glad to have others joining us!

We are changing to Main Dining my Travel Agent is working on that today for us, we decided to give it a try see how we like it compared to Second Seating.

This way we can at least get spots for the pirate party since Second Seating cuts it so close there were no seats available by the time we made it to deck 9 and 10.

Focusing on the cruise now is taking my mind off the fact that I was let go from my job on thursday :( and now have to try and find a job again. But I think it was a blessing in disguise as the work environment was really toxic to my stress levels so maybe this was a good thing.

I'm so sorry! I hope everything works out for you. Just remember your priorities when you are job hunting: making sure you can get time off for your cruise!

Good luck on the job hunt -- pixiedust:

I know it's months away but I just cant wait!!! I am worse than the kids:rotfl2:

I am so happy I found this thread! My boss recently returned from a cruise and was telling me about "Cruise Critic", but I thought I would try DIS, and :cool1: here it is!
We are hoping to have several families from my children's schools attend the cruise with us, our extended family. Me (35), DH (35), DD (13), DD (9) and DS (5) are ready to cruise with Disney! :hyper:

You can add us to the passenger list. First time cruising with my mom. Second time cruising with my DD on the Wonder. We're sure to have a blast!

We may definitely need to plan to meet -- DH and I will be there with DD14, DD9 and DD4 (maybe the girls will want to hang out!).

I realized I had not checked in here in quite awhile!!! I am in a new job, which is sooooo much less stress than my last one. We leave for Disney in 18 days!!! Then, it's on to cruising.

Just got back from sending off for the kids' passports. DH and I have current ones. That was fun!! Makes it seem more real...

Anyone heard about an FE exchange for this cruise? Anyone interested in doing it?

Sorry I have been quiet as well... Lots of family things going on not all good and I lost my job back in March and had surgery in April that was enjoyable not LOL.

I'm back on the mend and really excited about the cruise in November we will need the break from real life!

My grandma won't be joining us she is spending 2 months here this summer so she wants to spend the fall with my aunt. That's ok with us we want her to be happy not forced to go on a cruise if she isn't up for it!

I'd love to do a Fish Extender!! I'll be happy to organize it if you all want to do it!

Yes! It is a must do. :goodvibes

I was talking to a co-worker today about her Disney cruise and she mentioned a Meet and Fish Extenders. I was actually coming here to search for more information, because she made it sound WAY COOL! :cool1:
