11-7-10 Wonder cruise meet

We are moving our Cruise from May to This Cruise!

It will be myself, my Mom, and my Grandma!

My mom and I did the 4 night 2 weeks ago, and had a blast. This will be my grandma's 1st cruise ever!!!

We are hoping to get the same room we had booked for May in a Cat 6 :)

Your thread is on the 2010 Wonder Cruise Meet list so hopefully other cruisers will find you soon! :thumbsup2

Hey!! There are people here now. Excellent!! Th is will be our first Disney cruise. DH and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon, almost 15 years ago. We are coming with our kids, dd 8 and ds 6. Really looking forward to this.

this will be our 3rd Cruise!

Our first was a 7 night on the Magic in 2006

Our second was the 4 night on the Wonder in 2009.

We are planning on only getting off the boat in Castaway Cay the rest will be onboard the ship enjoy the Wonder before it leaves permanently for the west coast.

We are booked for this cruise -- first time ever cruisers!

It will be me (Big Mama), DH, DD14, DD10, and DD4 (that's how old they will be when we go).

Also coming are my mom (Nana) and dad (Papa) and sister, Aunt T.

I can't get enough of the cruise boards. We are so excited!

Nana, Papa and Aunt T are in a cat 11, and we are in a cat 4.

Welcome!!!!

I'm glad there are others to share in the excitement for the cruise!!!

Right now its just My mom and I my Grandma is still deciding LOL. But in the last 2 weeks we have come into about $600 for our cruise that we didn't have to shell out "Free" money whoohooo!

If you have questions about this cruise let me know we did the same itinerary just this December and will answer any questions you have. Also I can share my photos if you all would like it?

Ok So I figure I can post a few photos a week to keep us tied over until we cruise!

Since we can't cruise until we get through the ears I figure I'll start with a photo of that!

Thanks for posting pics!!!! I am soooo wxcited for this cruise. We are in NJ, just across from Philly. Where is everyone else? Our kids will be 6 and 8 on this cruise, and it is their first one.

This will be our first cruise and our first disney cruise. It will be me, my husband, 6 year old daughter, 13yo son, and our other daughter will have her sweet sixteen birthday onboard! We are going to celebrate her big day onboard and also our 16th wedding anniversary. We cannot wait to go!!! We want to know all the ins and outs so we can have the magical dream vacation we are dreaming of.

As far as where I'm From --Originally CT but I moved to Central Florida (within 50 minutes of Port Canaveral and about 12 mins from Epcot ;) ) in Sept 2008!

I understand your excitement for your first cruise and to have a birthday and anniversary on board is fantastic!!!!

What seating is everyone? We are late dining!

We are definitely going with the early seating. I know a lot of people said it really cuts into your day, having to be ready and at dinner by 5:45 (or thereabouts), but I am one mean mama -- I make my kids keep to bedtimes, even on vacation! If I let them stay up too late, it can get very ugle very quickly.

Since there are eight of us going, does anyone know how we will be seated? I assume we'll all be together, at a table for eight?

I found the answer to the question about table settings, they have 4, 6, 8, 10 top tables. You may or may not be seated with other people. You can request to have your own table, you may or may not get it.

I am starting to find my way around these threads to answer some of my questions!:rotfl:

Do you have to sign up for dining??? We got this cruise free when we joined DVC last year. I have not heard one thing from them since we signed up for the cruise.

I agree with "mean mama". My kids are still little at 6 and 8, and I firmly believe in keeping bedtimes.

We have late dining. Anyone know how many people are seated per table?

Our First Cruise it was a table for 6 and we were 3 separate families, Second Cruise it was a table of 8 but only 6 of us showed up. Both Cruises we were a party of 2.

Glad your finding the answers!

Yes, but what if I want to request a table AWAY from my family? :)

LOL that might be possible but they don't guarantee where your solo table will land you. LOL

Bed Times are still place here too! if I am not in bed by 11pm I turn into a Pumpkin instead of a Glass Carriage LOL!

Mean Mommies Rule!

If you contact DCL you can request Early or late dining.
