Again, a big thank you goes to Diane (Chip and Dale) for organizing this, even with some proding.
Hope everyone had fun.
I started the thread for us to share our thoughts on it.
I made some new friends, caught up with a few of the regular group of friends and made lots of great trades.
Tops on the list were 3 never before seen Sorcerer Mickeys, the complete set of WDW Mystery train pins and a LE 100 Grumpy (of which I only keep the three Socerer Mickeys....the others go to my DW who doesn't collect pins (LOL))
Hope you had fun with the trivia questions. It was a three way tie for first place with 8 correct answers out of 13. No one got the tie-breaker, so we had do draw names out of the hat.
Jack got the HMH litho. Again, hope you enjoy it.....sorry I didn't have 2 more to give away.

Glad you all had a wonderful time. So, what were the trivia questions (& of course, the answers :) )?

Here were the questions.....answers tomorrow....
1. What 1950s star was the model for Tinkerbell?

2. What month is the least crowded at WDW?

3. How late is the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland?

4. In the ballroom scene, what color is Belle's gown?

5. How much were orignal Mouseketeer ears sold for?

6. What is the setting for the most Disney films?

7. What Disney movie did British censors require kids under 16 be accompanied by an adult?

8. What Happy Days star helped make Beauty and the Beast a Broadway hit?

9. What Disney movie has both Demi Moor and Jason Alexander?

10. What Disney movie, except Fantasia and Fantasia 2000, has the least dialog?

11. Which M*A*S*H star was in Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, and Hunchback?

12. What Disney movie can you hear the words "Jiminy Cricket" that was released prior to Pinocchio?

13. What character did the Disney animators want to become the Sorcerer's Apprentice in Fantasia?

It was great fun to see everyone! I did more talking then trading, but got some cute pins anyway! For my DS I traded for the Monsters Inc DVD pin......very cute the way it opens!

Also traded a dear friend for the Tram Car transporation pins I needed from 2000.....I am so behind still! hehehehehe

What I loved most was meeting new people, seeing old friends, and seeing pins I would never see in person otherwise! There was this person with a Tinkerbell collection.....I am so sorry for not remembering her name......but I don't collect Tinks.....it was SO awesome to see these beautiful pins in person!

Jeff and Missy (BuddyBear of Central NJ fame) are a delightful couple! They have some awesome Cruise pins, that again I would never see in person otherwise! My DS was quite smitten with Missy! He was fascinated with the idea that their wedding was at Disney!

That trivia contest killed me! I had to guess at most, and DS even did better than I did....and he is only 9.......hehehehhe

Thank you Chip and Dale........you two are the best!!!!!!!

The belief that Tinker Bell was moldeled after Marilyn Monroe is an urban legend. Tink was modeled after actress Margaret Kerry.

James is correct.

I heard that at my first NFFC National Convention in California from animator Marc Davis who created Tinker Bell.

Sorry, I thought my source was reliable since it was in the printed media.
