If anyone reads this - where are you staying the night before or are you coming in on the 29th?

We are coming in late Friday night, so going to stay at Hyatt Place so we can get a day at Universal in on Saturday, then head to the port Sun Morning.

Hi Everyone

We should be there! 5 of us (DH, me, S15, D12, S4). So glad to see alot of teens. This is our first family cruise. My DH and I did Disney's Big Red boat cruise for our honeymoon 18 years ago lol. That's when the whole boat was red lol. The kids laugh at this.

I'm just debating now on what to book....planning on booking it today. (2 Cat 9 rooms or 1 Family Cabin). I just think that will be a bit cramped. What did you all do?

The only thing is the 2 Cat 9 room do not adjoin. None left. So I'm wondering if I'll run into any trouble that my 2 oldest are staying in the room right next to ours.

Debating now....my kids of course say 2 ROOMS mom! lol

Any feedback would be great!

Welcome! I'd do the two cat 9's for the extra bathroom. As long as there is 1 adult per room on the ressie then DCL really doesn't care who is in the room.

So the rooms would adjoin (next to each other) but not connecting (no door). So I planned on my 15 and 12 year old in one and me DH and 4 yr old in other. I really wish they connected...I'd put all 3 in one then lol.

I have no issues as long as the room is right next door with them in it (15 and 12 year old are very responsible....won't have issues with them. Just didn't want to get on board and have issues.

Hi! We are booked and have the count down going for our Thanksgiving Disney Vacation! We too are doing the 3/4 but added an additional day at the parks so we will be arriving on the 25th! Getting ressies this week was crazy! Our party consists of: Group 1: me, dh, ds(7), dd (5); Group 2: my mom, sis (15); Group 3: mil, fil; Group 4: dear friend, dfh, dfs (10), dfs (8); Group 5: dear friend, dfh, dfs (4). This will be the first Disney Cruise for everyone in the party! We would love to join in a fish extender group. My mom is busy making one for each group!

Ok, it is official, we are all paid for!!!! We can start booking on monday, but have not made any real decisions yet.

I am now ready to start thinking about FE & door magnet ideas.

Anyone want to organize the FE? I have never done FE before but I am willing to be involved. Has anyone else done FE previously?

Hi all 11-29-09 Wonder Crusiers!! Dh and myself along with 3 kids (ds-8 ds-5 and dd-3) will be on the Wonder! Arriving 11/25 to stay at AKV then Wonder then a couple nights at BCV after the cruise!!. We are all very excited, it will be our 3rd time on the Wonder and we would also like to participate in an FE. We signed up to do one at the last minute on our last cruise and the kids loved it, so exciting to find mail waiting for them! We need someone who we can send a email/PM to who will keep a list of cruisers (dis name, cabin number, # people, kids ages-- that sort of thing) and then they will need to send it out or post it for everyone a week or so before the cruise.
Anyone book any tours yet?
We were thinking of walking to the Pirates of Nassua Muesum in the Bahama's cause we heard it was cool on our last cruise.

Hello Sugar, welcome! I see your kids are a little closer in age to ours, DD(5) & DD(1). It seems a lot of teenagers so far so glad to see some other little ones.

We have booked brunch at Palo on day 4 (day at sea) as well as the Exotic Rasul on day 2 (Nassua day). We really dislike to even get off the boat in the Bahamas, rather enjoy the ship activities.

It seems as soon as the window opens up to make reservations it really sinks in that it is coming up soon. Getting excited!
