I know one thing............the party at the Radisson WILL involve tequila!!!! I didn't get any last year. That ought to make for some interesting video footage

Has anybody ever been to The Beaches Resorts?? We are looking into going for my 30th Birthday to Turks and Curios??

I have been to Sandals (which is the same but for adults only)in St Lucia, only three negatives:

1. The resorts don't look as nice in person as in the pictures. I know they always do this but for some reason Sandals does it to the extreme. I wouldn't say it was the nicest hotel I have ever seen. It's kind of a 3 star type hotel. That being said it was still a great vacation.

2. They water down the drinks...alot. I thought I was the only one but when I talked to other people who have been to them they said the same thing. We didn't even get a buzz the whole week .

3. You need to make dinner reservations for your entire week on the first day you are there. We checked in and skipped the orientation to make sure we got the restarurants we wanted on the nights we wanted. It's kind of like Disney, we did lots of research before we went. One night we showed up to a restaurant that we had reservations for and they were having a private party an wouldn't let us eat there (they didn't have any record of this party on the first day). We had to stand in line for 45 minutes to eat at the only restaurant the had availability.

Keep in mind I went 11 years ago so things might have changed but that is the only negative stuff everything else was great. It's kinda like a cruise on land but better because you don't have to pay for drinks or excusions. It's great that everything is included...that was the best part.

I agree with you about the parks. Right now we are talking about flying out the night before Thankgiving and spending the night with Joey's Uncle in Tampa. Than we would drive to the Radisson on Friday afternoon. I want to be one of the cool people this year. As soon as I get my Credit Card paid off, I'll book the Radisson.

Shell-Wouldn't it be nice if we could celebrate our birthdays together? I bought an atlas today. Mostly because I don't know my *** from my elbow. I'm determined to find a place where the Nana Sistas can meet!!!!

Time, money, coordination, etc. Plus trying to figure it out during the holidays was a bad idea. I told someone (maybe Kim?) that we should plan on it now for spring 2009, that way we all can figure out our schedules better.

I would love to but we need to sell the other pizza place...money is really tight right now. If we sell the place, I am hoping to be able to go somewhere in June. Any ideas????

Hi everyone-Hope you all are having a good day I am trying to get the rest of my Christmas stuff down. I just have not had time to finish putting it all away. Hopefully it will be all packed away by Sunday night. We may go to dinner with friends tonight. I could really use a night out Not a whole lot going on this weekend. I will try to check in later.

I think we're going to fly out on Thanksgiving Day still..........WDW was SOOOO crowded last year, I don't know if I can hang with that again.

We went to Magic Kingdom the Friday after Thanksgiving in 06. It was crazy busy! I don't know what we will do this year. I am wondering how busy Epcot would be? I hate to be that close to Disney and not get to go. I really don't want to go again if it is going to be that busy. We may just chill out and do some shopping on that Friday. Ma ybe hit Down Town Disney. We will be at the Raddison too I hope.

Hi Lynn-John and I have been to a couple of nice all inclusive resorts in the Myan Riviera. One was called Bahia Principa and the other was Moon Palace. The Moon Palace was closer to Cancun. Bahia is very close to the Myan Ruins. It is a ways from the Hotel Zone in Cancun. It is closer to Playa Del Carmen. I thought both were really nice resorts. They are both really big! Good luck making your plans. Sounds like a lot of fun? When will you be going? TTYL

Ever since the last night on the cruise--you remember--not to the room till 4:30am--he has surprised me over and over again

Good Evening ,
Wow, I got so much done today . I went to the government building to give in my STAR application to get a break on my taxes. Wow, that was a place that was VERY hard to found because it is in the middle of nowhere. Then it was off to check out a Nursery school for DS. Well it was nice but not for $710.00 a month for 4 hrs 3 days a week. Well I am off to give DS a bath and then bed. Talk to you all in the morning!!


Lorna: Thanks for the information . We are going to be going in 2010. I am excited because I don't want a party for my 30th I just want to go somewhere that I have never been. I have to get some more information on the beaches resorts and then we will decide.
