Hi everyone! It is very late - I am still writing Christmas cards and they need to get out tomorrow! I am more behind than last year - so much for getting things done before the cruise.....

I thought I would drop a note as tomorrow may be busy. I have been trying to keep up; nice to hear from everyone!

Hi Mina,
I think by this cruise you should have 500 posts easy,

I was up all night with a bad cold so I am very tired today, but I still need to go to the store this morning to get a few groceries. I am dreading it because everywhere will be so busy this close to Christmas. I hate lines, but especially when I am extra tired like today.

Hopefully after both holidays are done with peoples lives will slow down a bit so they will have more times to post. You guys be sure and take a few photos during your get togethers and post a few Christmas ones here, I think that would be fun to see them.

next year be sure you go to their house so you can return the favor
Will keep my fingers crossed for you, maybe you get get them tickets to a show so they will be gone for an evening to give you some peace.

I am so blessed that i love my in laws and we get long great. never a problem after all these years. Greg gets along great with my side of the family too.

Kathy, Are you taking your vitamins!?! You've had two bad colds already this year! I not feeling all that great today or last night either. I hope you have good luck with the house selling.

Christian's Christmas party is at 2 today.

Did you see that National Treasure 2 is out today. I really liked 1 looking forward to seeing the 2nd. Thinking about waiting until after Christmas but who knows.

Dawn We want to see national treasure too. i was going to wait til next weekend but they have a 10 a.m. matinee at the mall tomarrow. It will be a busy place but everyone will be shopping, not going to the movies so we may go, probably depends on how I am feeling.
also was to see Charlie Wilsons war . I think that is what it is called.

Ummm...NO...I just don't say anything. Right now the pots are sitting on my stove...I haven't put them away because I am trying to find a place for them and it's driving her crazy...she asked me where I wanted to put them....I didn't say anything

Sorry... I just really can relate to your pain.

When I was in the hospital with Jackson my MIL completely rearranged all the food in my pantry. I couldn't find anything for months.

Last year for Christmas we gave her a Sam's membership so she could buy her gas there. (She lives on a very tight budget.) She said "You know I can get gas cheaper at Caseys." This year I gave her a Kohl's gift card so she could buy herself some clothes. First words out of her mouth "Will this get me gas?"

Hi Lorna,
we are living in our own home but trying to sell it and another home we rent out. Someone is coming this morning to see the other house, so keep your fingers crossed!!
This is the worst possible time to try and sell a house in Florida, thousands are in forclosure and people can get them cheap and builders have cut their prices on new homes because they cant sell them. way too many homes on the market. 2 builders even offer NO mortgage payemnts for the first year if you buy from them.

But since many builders are laying people off and some are out of business now, and my husband works for one of those big builders we dont want to be stuck with 2 mortgage payments when he gets laid off. We know its coming soon, but we dont know the exact months yet, probably within the next 3 months. So we really need to sell the other house at least.
Wont go into details but renting it again is NOT an option at this point in time.

Wish us luck!! We need it to sell the house. It is a nice , newer home on 1/2 acre lot. 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 bath, Loft, dining room, familyroom, livingroom, kitchen with 2 pantry's ,laundry room, dbl car garage and it sits at the end of a cul de sac so no traffic. If times were good it would of been gone in a heart beat.

Kathy-I hope it sells for you. The housing market here is really bad too. There have been at least 3 house forclosed homes in our sub. The forclosed homes are selling for cheap!!

Hi all, This morning I went to work out. This afternoon I took Madison to the fire station for a santa lunch. Her grandpa plays santa. She figured it out about 2 years ago. It is still a lot of fun for her.

I am staying home the rest of the day. I need to finish wrapping and I still don't have all my cards mailed.

Okie-Glad to hear your parents are doing better.

Christine-Good luck with the in laws. I guess I am very lucky because I get along with my inlaws for the most part.
