Mornin' Nanas

Well, my mom is now in the ICU. Got her to the ER yesterday with a blood pressure of 60/39 and unresponsive. After 4 liters of fluids-she started to come around-she was severly dehydrated from the last 5 days of not taking much in....one of the first things she asked me was "do you have any gum?"--she is a big chewing gum fan ...she didn't realized of course that she was out of it for 5 days--that is best I guess......

I think everyones , prayers, and did the trick---thank you soooooo much

Bill if Josh is Minnow, are you Gilligan?? You know the guy who was always in trouble for doing dumb things, the not too bright one?? I believe he was friends with a gorilla once too, must of been a relative of yours?

Hows the baby today?
Is he ready for a baby brother or sister yet?? Not much fun being an only child ya know, especially when both of you are at work.

Okie, good to hear your mom is coming around now. Dehydration can really do a lot of harm to a person. Good they got her all taken care of when they did.

Good morning everyone!

Well, it is 29 degrees here in White Plains. Supposed to be 75 in Atlanta. I bet Lisa drives the convertible to work! I am just keeping my fingers crossed for the flight home. A big snow storm is supposed to get here on Saturday, and I am just hoping all the hot air in Cuyahoga Falls doesn't push it here quicker!

Okie: Glad to hear mom is doing better. I remember when that happened to my dad one time (severe dehydration) when he was battling cancer. It was amazing how quickly he came back to normal. We will keep you guys in our prayers!

Good morning everyone. Wendy, I'm still out here. I've turned into more of a lurker and less of a poster. Not much going on except for work and other nonsense (Emily has strep). My favorite sports team (the Pitt basketball team) is now #9 in the rankings and has a big game at home vs. Oklahoma State this Saturday. Should be a fun one.

Shell, Went to Cheeseburger in Paradise Saturday. Good burgers, Christian had the Chicken Skewers or whatever they were called. I'll be getting together stuff for the list.

So my angel decided last night after 5 solid hours of running and playing that that wasn't enough to justify sleeping all night. So he cried and howled for the first half hour. We used ear plugs so it wasn't awful, but definitely different than the 2 previous nights. Then he thought that 3am would be a brilliant time to rip all the newspapers in his crate to shreds and play!

In the words of Danny Glover in "Lethal Weapon" ... I'm too old for this s***

Just imagine 12 puppies that are 8 weeks old having those kinds of tendencies! I loved our puppies, but dang we were glad to see them go!

Nah. I have a 4 year old who will still steal a shoe occaisionally! And, she loves to destroy tennis balls!
