Lorna: Glad to hear you are feeling better. If we could keepy you and Lynn well, we would be doing okay!:thumbsup2

Maybe you just need to move to the south!

Some day I would like to move south or at least go there for part of the winter. :goodvibes Not sure where though. We like Tennesse. My parents left today for a month in Gulf Shores Alabama. Must be nice.

Good Evening    ,
Wow, it is suppose to be in the 40's here but it does not feel that way when you step outside. Today I got all my wash done and started painting princess: name for her room. Has anybody been to a Premier Jewelry Party and what do you serve at one of theses things?? My friend is hosting one at my house at the end of Feb. and I have never done this before so I have no idea what I have to do. If anybody wants a jewelry to order let me know ;) ;) ;) !!! PM me!! Talk to you all tomorrow!!

Lynn- I would just serve some finger food and maybe a dessert. Don't make too much. I have seen chips and salsa along with crackers and cheese. What color are you painting princess: room? Hope you are feeling better. TTYL

Hi there, Today I spent some time researching shore excursions. We are still thinking about the Dolphin swim, but are not 100% sure yet. It looks like you can get your $$ back if for some reason the ship misses that port. You just have to show some proof of that. I have not ever booked an excursion out side of the ship. So I am a little nervous about doing it. I also want to make sure the kids really want to do it. I think in Grand Cayman we may do the Pirate Encounter. Not sure if that is the correct name or not. Our friends have decided to swim with the stinrays. We did that in 04. My kids don't want to do it again.

Well off to put the kids to bed. Have a good night

What are fish extenders and what do you put in them:confused3 :confused3 ?? What are we using them for??

Hi Lynn,
Remember the small fish on the wall by your cabin? It is a note holder. A fish exender is an extension of that holder. That way people can leave you some kind of candy or gift during the week.
It is usually a long strip of material that is very decorative and has 2 or 3 pockets on the front of it for people to put the gifts in. Usually around 20 to 24 inches long and around 6 inches wide, approximately.
It is fun when ever you come back to your room to see if someone has been there to leave you something.

Our resident expert is Dawn, she makes them and sells them. Perhaps she will post a picture of two for you to see how they look. Then you can be creative and make one for your family.
For the time of the year we are going I have even seen just a big stocking hung by a ribbon , some were decorated with characters, others had pockets sewed onto the front of it.
Some even get a gift bag and decorate it to hang. just get large handles to fit over the fish or add a ribbon to go over the fish to hand the bag.

types of gifts we have either given or received are:
miniature candies
note pads
neon bracelets andnecklaces
chinese finger traps
glow in the dark straws
small party favors like hand games, horns, bubbles
bottled water
spinning tops
small rubber duckies
stamp sets, disney themed
beads
pencils themed for pirates and princesses

you get the idea. Oriental trading has some great items, but your such a shopper, you can just watch those close out sales and dollar tables in the stores.

hope that explains it some, others may be able to explain better than me.

Dawn,
how bout posting a photo for Lynn?

Kathy

Good morning everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great day so far, even if it is early.

Lorna: Shell found a company for cabins and our two cabins will be located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. From what I know of the area, it looks like we will be off the beaten path, which is probably a good thing knowing this group!:rotfl2:

The theme in princess:' room is Liliac and Pink Butterflies. So to match the border we did a rosy pink color. I can't wait to see:cloud9: :cloud9: it finished and ready for my new little girl princess: princess: princess:!!!

Good Morning    ,
Well we are having another suppose to be in the 40's but does not feel like it at all.. Today I am going to go through the garage and look for all the baby stuff and start to clean it for princess: !! That is all that is going on here.
Have a good day!!

when is who going to Gatlinburg? Is there a party? We're coming back from our "life after work" adventure that way the first part of april.

Good Afternoon-It is a rainy and windy day here, but warm-about 45 today. It's a heat wave:cool2: Tomorrow we are back in the deep freeze. Wind chills are suppose to be -10:scared1: It is no wonder I can't get healthy with this crazy weather!

Today I am staying in to finish:laundy: I also need to clean our wood floor. I may run to Kohls too:) Hope everyone has a good day!

Kathy-Did you post a report yet? Glad you had a nice time.

Lynn,

My daughter painted Elizabeth's room rose and olive green(?) anyways to match the curtains, crib skirt...you get the picture! Well, Elizabeth loves Mickey. You don't understand, she LOVES Mickey. She now has Mickey sheets, Mickey blanket, Mickey pictures, Mickey snow globes, Mickey clock, etc etc etc. They were talking the other day about repainting the room.

When I came back from WDW last time, I brought her a Mickey t-shirt. If her mother put a different shirt on her she would cry and point to her chest (meaning I want my Mickey shirt!). I ordered 2 more shirts for her to have. She now has a collection so she can wear a Mickey everyday! Believe me it is a challenge because little girls are not suppose to love Mickey, they are suppose to love Minnie!

Lorna,

I've done a little researching too. We are leaning to going to Seven Mile beach in Grand Cayman and going to San Gervasio Ruins and/or Playa Del Sol Beach in Cozumel.
