Finally worked out all our cruise details. Booking 2 onboard stressed me out. We canceled the very expensive June 08 double dip we booked and moved it to the Aug 09 Tortola Eastern so we could preserve our onboard credit, etc. We got an amazing rate for this cruise. Hopefully we'll also join the 'Nanaheads in Nov. 09 but I'd wait til next year's big event to book that one.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday. It's snowing here again - another 2 inches of snow that virtually shut the city down. Big doings in our quiet suburban plan this morning as someone was driving too fast past our house, plowed into a car parked outside of our across the street neighbor's house and then proceeded to fly through four different neighbor's lawns. No idea how fast this lady must have been going but she had to be flying to do that much damage after hitting another car. Emily was at the window like Gladys Kravatz the whole time (reference anyone?)

Bob, Shell,
I dont have exact measurmeents for taco pizza, but here is what I do you can add or take away some thing depending on your taste.
I use lean ground turkey for ground beef to cut fat and calories.


Use crust of your choice.
I make my own or use Boboli is I'm lazy like today.

preheat oven 400
cook 1/2 pound of ground turkey with one packet of taco seasoning as directed on package. ( if you use lean beef only use 1/2 pkg seasoning mix)

set aside to cool slightly

easiest way is to make an assembly line of ingredients.

1/2 can fat free refried beans
1/2 cup favorite chunky salsa
1 small can sliced olives
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 small bag reduced fat shredded mexican cheese
crush enough spicy nacho chips to equal 1 cup
shred 2 cups lettuce
dice up 2 small tomatoes
a jar sliced Jalapenos (optional)

put refried beans and salsa on crust and mix with hands enough to spread all over the crust.
sprinkle all the cooked taco meat over the bean mixture
sprinkle with chopped onions
sprinkle on the olives
sprinkle a nice coating of cheese
sprinkle sliced Jalapenos(optional)

bake as directed on crust package usually about 12 to 15 minutes to get hot all the way through.

remove from oven, cut into slices
sprinkle the lettuce over the top of the pizza
sprinkle the diced tomatoes over the top of pizza
sprinkle the crumbled chips over the top


serve with more salsa, guacamole or sour cream


we usually need to eat this with a fork because it is a hefty pizza.

This is the basic stuff I use. You can add other things or take away something if you dont like it.

Hi everyone, Well It is a cold very damp day here. Did not get any snow though Today I went walking at the highschool. Then I spent some time helping at school. Seems like that is the story of my life-vounteering at school. Need to learn to say NO!! I think things will be better after the Holidays.

Lets see what are we doing this weekend?? Tonight is Night 2 of Madisons play. Last night they did a great job. Very cute. Tonight my nieces are spending the night. Tomorrow we are going to get our Christmas tree. Then Madison has her play again and we have a suprise 40th birthday party to go to tomorrow night.

Well I have been trying to talk our frineds into going on this cruise. My friend is all ready to book, but Dh is not thrilled about it. I am going to take over pictures, our video and the Personal Navigators and show him he will have a blast I mean who does not want to go on a cruise

Bob-Are you going back to New York next week?

Kathy-John will love the taco pizza. Mexican is his favorite. I will try it next week.

Shell-Thanks for the list. You did a great job Did you already make reservations at the Raddison? If not when do reccomend we make them by? We have never stayed there. We do want to stay at the Port. I need to check out their web site for prices.

Well today took DS to his follow-up and everything cleared up!!! After that we went to see Santa and that did not go to well because he did not want to get close to Santa . From a distance he waved to Santa but up close he wanted no part. I made it home just in time because we not have 2 inches of snow on the ground and more coming tonight !!!
