Ah, Dawn you are a great person. Of course I had trouble recognizing the person in the picture with the red hair. I love the hair Woo and thanks for the hint about remembering your birthday. I promise we won't forget, some people's presents will be a tad bit late though.

The wind is blowing a gale here this AM, and even the teddies are Hibearnating, with only their little noses visible above the blankets. I'm off today and thought to go out and run errands, but not with a windchill below zero, NO WAY!

Good Morning ,
Well like everyone else we are freezing cold here today in NY. It is in the single digits but with the wind chill feels like 0 degrees. We had a great time with my parents at the Chocolate World Expo at the Mall. Wow, DS enjoyed himself because Grandma and Grandpa were letting him have everything!!! He had chocolate all over his face everytime he ate something. My mom local paper took a picture of him with chocolate all over his face!! It was too funny !!! DH did his Valentine's Day shopping. Me and my sis checked out Cold Stone Ice Cream. OMG I hope my favorite place to go in the Mall!!! It was sooooooooo good!!!! We also went to Babies R Us and they did not have one Big Brother shirt there !! We got all the accessories for ' room. It is going to look so pretty!! I just have to wait for the rug to me installed and then I can start decorating and getting things ready!!
Well today someone is coming between 11-1 to measure ' room for the rug to be put in. DS and I are staying in because it is just too cold to go out!!! I have to do the and I am going to make Chocolate Covered Starwberries. Well that is all that is going on here...

Good Morning All:

I woke up to thunder, lightning and sleet. We are suppose to get 2-4 inches of ice today. The schools are closed and so is the courthouses. Needless to say, here I sit doing household chores. Laundry, bringing in wood (in case we loose power) consoling the dogs after the thunder. Hunter is still in bed, and we have lost the feed to NBC, so this could prove to be a great day. NOT.

For those of you with b-days tomorrow, your present is going to be even later than planned.

I will keep checking back as long as we have power. Keep your fingers crossed.

Oh, life is good! Got up to 46 degrees yesterday and suppose to be close to the same or higher today!

My sympathy's to all of you who are experiencing the cold. All I can say is...... Better you then me!!

We didn't have school here either. I guess the roads are just terrible. -15 wind chill isn't allowing the salt to work on the roads so they are a sheet of ice and still covered with snow.

I had my mail held so I could get it (the postman won't stop because the box is plowed in ) so I at least have to go to the post office today.

We're back from Vegas and it's time to get back to work.

Sorry, no pictures to post right now (I don't think you'd like to see pictures of us all inhaling the pizzas Joey made! They were AWESOME!!!!!!! ) -- but I'm sure Bill has some that would be suitable for a family board!

Kim -- we opted for turtle-free pizza on this visit -- maybe next time.

Shell -- I was wearing yellow so I wouldn't get hit crossing the street! If you would've given me more packing advice (like I asked for), I wouldn't have made such fashion blunders.

Tonya -- one of the "local" casinos (Silverton) is connected to a huge Bass Pro Shop (apparently filled with LOTS of animals, stuffed & mounted) -- I thought of you guys!

How 'bout that, there's another snow advisory for Chicago this afternoon. . .

Everyone is late getting Shell her Birthday gifts, so they're giving them to me instead............Mel and I shared a moment on Saturday that had her up past midnight just thinking about it..........Apparently not all mailmen adhere to "Neither rain, nor snow, nor death of the night, can keep us from our duty...right Dawn and Greg?.........Cheri is back from Vegas but only brought back porno shots not suitable for posting...........Kathy desparately wants to post but her feet are so sore and swollen she can't reach the computer..........the only sighting we are going to get out of Mutt is a shot of his ***..........Tonya likes to mount animals.

We'll we are up to 1/4 inch or more the limbs, etc. The power lines can take 1/2 before they start snapping and this is suppose to go on all afternoon. Yah toast. Maybe I could spend this time getting all these darn b-day gifts around to mail tomorrow.

We've brought in wood for the fireplace, etc. Getting the laundry done and the dishes so that I don't have to do them later. I have worked Hunter so hard this morning he is hiding in his closet. Said he was going to his happy place. ah kids. What was it like when you didn't have to pay the bills and be responsible. Kind of like today.....

Well our kids had school today The roads are a sheet of ice. It is below zero outside. The buses were super late, so a lot of kids were at the bus stop waaaay too long! I drove Madison to school. I don't know why there was school I am staying in today. I still have some and vacuming to do.

We are supposed to be getting another 3-6inches of snow here....we barely get the drive way shoveled and the deck cleaned off then we get more snow....I really hate it
We actually lost power for about an hour yesterday afternoon, transformer blew...we called com ed and they come up and had to get up on the pole and fix it....I felt kinda bad for them...with the windchill below zero and the wind was a really blowing yesterday...but the house has really gotten chilly in that hour....so glad it didnt take longer than that.
