Do the Nana ladies wear dresses every night? I was going to dress for formal and semi-formal but then I was going to wear nice pants for the other 5 nights. Will I embarass you all that way?

I am new to this group, but I sure hope we don't have to wear dresses every night, bc/ the ONLY dresses that I own are formals, and I only have 2 of them. I am not a dress person. They look horrible on me!!
I'm short, and I hate to say it, very heavy...they just don't fit me well.

I will be wearing pants, probably all nights. Even for the formal night. I hope to find a very dressy formal pantsuit.

Ladies dont worry about wearing pants.
You will see pants, jeans, sundresses, shorts (although they ask you not to wear them), khaki's and everything inbetween

I hate wearing dresses. I am a blue jeans and sweatshirt person, although i weat slacks to dinner.
We usually skip formal night and just eat at the buffet which is a sit down place at night. Just because we are not dress up kinds of people.

So wear something you feel comfortable in and it will work perfect!!

Even thought it was really tacky and in bad taste I have even seen a man in shorts and a plain white t-shirt in Lumiere's on formal night. He was about 60 and everyone else was dressed nicely in his family accept him. Nobody said a words to him.

so pants, slacks, capris are all great on casual nights. One night will be pirate night and you will see everything that night

Hello everyone!!!

We have had a very good Saturday! We had Wyatt's Birthday Day party today. We had about 60 people there...what can I say...I have a HUGE family and they all like to party. We cooked hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone. Wyatt got some really good presents...even the cutest pair of Mickey Pajamas. They are adorable. He got two Mickeys...one bean bag Mickey and another one that sings. And lots of other stuff.

Now, we are watching LSU football game. Greg and my Daddy are not happy, so I assume that we are losing.

Steph...In all honesty, Isaw your picture and unless that isn't you, you don't appear heavy to me.

Well after some serious thinking and talking, Joey and I have decided we are going to stay on the ship in Cozumel. I don't know if you guys have heard (it has made national news) but a little boy from Vegas was kidnapped out of his house to pay off a drug debt in Mexico It is just a terrible story. Plus my boss does a lot of business in Mexico and has been telling me some pretty scary stories about the drug wars going on down there. I really don't mean to scare anyone, it's just that we really weren't that crazy about Mexico in June so instead of spending money on an excusion I'm not sure about we are just going to enjoy an empty ship.

We were there in Cozumel this past January. We had a great time there. We went with a group of people that we met onboard to Panchos Backyard to eat some great Mexican food. I always feel unsafe there to some extent. I am not a brave person when it comes to other countries. It makes me nervous b/c I know they have different laws than we do. But, I have been 8 times to Cozumel and have never had a bad experience, but on the ships, I have heard of others who have had wallets stollen, ladies that had their purses taken, the date rape drug being used, etc...

This time, Wyatt and myself will be on the ship with you guys. Greg is scuba diving with the ship excursion group. I love the ship during port days. Last year, me and Wyatt stayed onboard while Greg was diving and we had a good time. They have all kinds of activities and they have great Spa prices...I say all this, but I just thought...while I'm typing this, that I have no idea about DCL on port days. Maybe some can tell us...

Thanks..I sure hope that I can find one. I have s cruise shopping trip planned for Nov 6th weekend to Baton Rouge, so maybe I can get one there.

Hey...Wyatt does feel better. Last night, we used the Benadryl/Mylanta mouth wash solution and he slept much better, which made for a better day today. He also had no fever today. He still has the ulcers, but I think he must feel better b/c he sure played hard.. Thanks for asking.
