And you only bring one regional gift, correct?

Yes, it's like a grab bag. Shell will pull out the first name and then they will give their gift to the name they pull...or something close the that:confused3

After Europe my next big cruise will be to Tahiti. Some even go from Tahiti to Hawaii...now that would be amazing.

Hi-I'm new to this thread. DH and I decided to book a Disney Cruise for Nov 29, since there were no rooms to be had at a resort. We are DVC members, and visit at least twice a year with our 3 yo dd, but this will be our first cruise.

Since it's our first DC, I had some questions...what's up with the door magnets? Does everyone do them...and how do you do them?

THAT's the cruise I want to take! We are talking about the Med in 2010 in combination with a trip to see the Greek relatives so we will probably book something as a place holder just in case. Thinking August 7, 2010 11 nighter. If the airfare wasn't so daunting - especially when I price Pittsburgh-Athens-Barcelona-Pittsburgh and it comes up to almost $1,900 in 2009. I can't even imagine what i will be by then.

Hi Nanas:banana:  My day has been a little more exciting/stressful than planned. I went to church this morning for a book study. Then I went to say hi to a friend in my old neighborhood. When I went to leave, my car would not start. Completely dead:headache: Thank goodness one of my other neighbors were home. He came out and took a look. It was my battery. He proceeded to take the old one out, drive me to get a new one and then he put the new one in:) . John and I owe him and his wife a dinner. I was thankful he was home and that my car did not die on the road some where. Any how I am glad to be home. Just in time for DD to come in. Not much else going on today. Just the usual, dance this evening.

:jumping1: :welcome: :jumping1:

Most of us have door magnets. You can get magnetic sheets from Wal-Mart or an office supply place. There are lots of pictures on the boards that you can just save and print.

We will be at WDW the night before we sail, so I am hoping to buy us something while we are there to wear for pirate night. At least a shirt of some sort. Have any ideas? I want to but DS a pirate outfit, but I know when we were there in March, they were $60...kinda expensive for one night, b/c he'll outgrow it soon.

What's Rick shirt like?

I would look after Halloween for a costume. Everything will be 1/2 of. Dh and I are wearing Tshirts and pirate bandana. DCL ususally gives you these at dinner. My kids have a pirate costume from Pirates Of the Carrbian 2. It is an Elizabeth Swan outfit. We got them for 1/2 off:yay:

The pirate bandana have been down sized. They are only half bandanas and barely fit on my head...or maybe I just have a really big head:rolleyes:

I'm really at a loss on Fish Extender ideas. I think we failed miserably on the Mexican Riviera cruise by buying a bunch of dollar store stuff and giving everyone bunches of forgettable stuff. We got a couple of really cool items that were VERY creatively focused on the region where those people were from. I have been racking my brain to equal that kind of thing but to no avail.

Hello, we are doing the Carnival Dream Med cruise in 2010 for Joey's 40th. Everyone should just come with us. Disney's Med cruises are just too expensive. For two people on a 12-night Med that goes to Rome, Florence, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Sicily, Over Night in Venice, Croatia and Naples it will cost $5000 for a balcony room on Carnival. Disney doesn't go to all of these places and their prices are starting at about $5000 per person....I'm just sayin'

WOW!! This sounds like a great trip. I have been on Carnival 7 times, so apparently I like that line, but mostly it's b/c they sail from Louisiana. I would love to do that sailing, I have wanted to for years, but haven't been brave enough to do it. We could in 2010 too, DS will not be in school yet, so I don't think 12 days would be a problem. DH doesn't like to be gone from his businesses that ling, but if he planned long enough in advance, I say GO!!!
