Hi husband :wave2: Daddy's IMing me (he's getting very good) and teaching me about the economy. We're in deep sh**. Hope we like sleeping on sand.

Having been listening to the news lately? Remember what you Disney stock did last week? I'll fill you in on the details later.

Doesn't Cheri like run major marathons?? ....hope she won't laugh at my attempt at "getting in shape".....it's sad really!!!

Hi Okie! :wave2:

No -- no major marathons here ( no minor ones, for that matter!).

I prefer to keep my races short and sweet - 5K or less!

I am getting back in shape myself -- had to take off a few weeks because of a high Achilles strain -- so I know how difficult it can be.

To answer your questions -- the fitness center on board is pretty decent. The treadmills overlook the bridge so you can look out onto the water.

There are also bikes & ellipticals, and weight machines & free weights and other gear (mats, exercise balls, etc.).

Hope this helps!

Speaking of marathons (or half-marathons) -- I'm very loosely considering the Va. Beach 1/2 in March -- someone volunteered to be there for me with drinks @ the end...or was she just volunteering to be drinking while standing and waiting for me at the finish line?:confused3 :confused3

Bill, we could start training now (or right after we get back from the cruise)...:rolleyes1

If I do a marathon, it will have to be a destination marathon -- Vegas, Hawaii, possibly WDW, etc. I know the Chicago marathon is supposed to be very good (well, except for last year), but I need to go more than 1 hour away if I'm going to run aimlessly for 26.2 miles!!

Hi Christine  Where have you been all day? Working or something? :confused3

The only exercise I get on the ship is walking around deck 4 and for the workout for my arms I do the fork to plate to mouth exercise and also do that same exercise with a glass in my hand. :rotfl2:

But hey I do walk and am trying to lose some damn weight, but I know the cruise will do me in, but I will get right back into it when I get home :goodvibes

Hi BFF - NY:flower3:

I've been in and out all day. My boss actually made me work this morning:rolleyes: .

12-oz curls work wonders for the biceps!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wonder if I should get 2 of those refillable beer mugs -- think of the muscle bulges I could get with them!!!
