Have a great day everyone!

One week to Russia!:cool1:

GOOD MORNING BFF-OH!!:lovestruc :lovestruc

Hope you're feeling better today!

Nice to see posting last night!

Shell, how are you feeling this morning?

Marie here's some pixie dust for you! pixiedust: pixiedust:

Mutt :dogdance: Hi!

Pam, like the Mexican bananas!

Joanna, Surprised you didn't keep going to get the 6000!

What a bummer for Elizabeth? Is she still swimming this fall?

Another soccer game this afternoon over an hour away--Niles, MI.

:wave2: Hi everyone else! Have a great day!

Dawn - It is a bummer. Swim team just started last week and if you remember the same thing happened last year (but it was her wrist) and we opted to not get a waterproof cast since she wouldn't have really been able to swim. With the pinkie, she can still swim, so if she has to have a cast, we're going waterproof. Plus tomorrow (Wed) is Elizabeth's 10th birthday. She opted to NOT go to New York afterall (I'm a little sad about that) but wanted to have a friends party instead. So now MIna is hustling to get that together!

JOANNA: Did anyone remember to remind you to order t-shirts yesterday?

NO THEY DIDN'T remind me...OK picture from Seinfeld Babu waving his finger and saying...Nanaheads...BAAD, very very BAAD :rotfl2:

Good morning Nanaheads.
Happy Tuesday!

I have lots of cruise related info and questions:

It's looking like we have to really make decisions about excursions we have booked soon so that we know what we are going to do. I think we are going to skip the dolphin swim since we just did that in Cabo this summer. And in Grand Cayman, we were going to do the DCL Beach Break but now I think we are just going to do it on our own as we had last time. Therefore we will once again have zero official DCL excursions! I have to say that in Mexico we did 2 official DCL excursions and really liked the convenience and organization of it but since we are familiar with these ports it doesn't seem necessary.

We are also considering changing our flight schedule and coming in on Thanksgiving Day instead of Friday and staying either onsite, the Swan, or at the Marriott Grande Lakes.

So I have a question for some of you who have gone down early before. How crowded are the parks on Thanksgiving Day and on Friday?

jeff

I'm not a ortho dr, but when my daughter broker her pinky finger, running in the house and clipping her pinky finger on the door frame OUCH! after they reset it, they gave her a splint.

So pixie dust that she also gets a splint. pixiedust:

Thanks to Everyone for Welcoming my Family to the Nana's!! You all sound like a great group of folks to sail with!!

A little about my family:

Me -the DW(36)- Crazy about anything Disney, and all travel everywhere! DH says that I am over the top. We travel several times a year!! But, we love WDW!! I am a chemist for a large chemical company.
DH (36) - Loves to travel, hunt, fish, scuba dive, golf, etc... He is an insurance agency owner, among a few other things!!
DS (2)- Well, he'll be two by the time that we sail. He's our little souvenir from our WDW in Jan 2006!! For real!!! We had been trying to have a baby for years! Went to WDW for 12 glorious days and came home with a little surprise!! He's spoiled rotten, and loves Nemo and Mickey Mouse. This will be his second trip to WDW, and his second cruise!!!

Our travels:
This will be our 10th cruise in 8 years, but the first with DCL. We are very excited. We thought that DS2 would love it. We had to plan it short notice due to cancelling a land trip to WDW in Sept due to hurricanes. We live in Louisiana and it was too hectic here to go. We are in North La, so not as bad as it could be, of course.

We have pre-night stay before the cruise at the Polynesian Resort! We are hoping to spend the night at the Magic Kingdom the night before the cruise.

We also a trip planned to WDW for February 28th to March 6th at the Wilderness Lodge. I can't wait!!

Personal Messages: Ok, about the PM, how do I change that? Where do I go? Thanks for the help with this one.

Fish Extenders: What??????? Are you doing them?

Anyone scuba diving that DH can go with? In Cozumel or Grand Cayman?

Shore Excursions: All we have planned is DH dives, b/c we will have DS with us and I don't feel he's ready to be left on the ship with the Nursery just yet. He has a nanny at home and doesn't have the nursery environment, so who know how he'll do there. I did sign him up for his 10 hours though!!

Jeff-We found Magic Kingdom to be very busy the Friday after Thanksgiving. We had long waits for rides. Even when we had a fast pass, the wait seemed longer.

Also we are going to 7 mile beach on Grand Cayman. We will just get a cab. Is that what you guys are doing?

Yep i think so. We may go to the Beach Suites (used to be the Hyatt Beach Suites) and get a day pass. They don't sell them every day, but most days they have some for sale and it lets you use their pool and beach chairs.

Morning Nana's!!

Hey Jeff, maybe we'll see you guys on the beach. :thumbsup2

We chartered a sail boat to take us out to Stingray City and other snorkeling spots, but later we wanted to relax on the beach. :woohoo:

Morning everyone,

Jeff, the parks are extremely crowded. MK often maxes out by 11:00 a.m. and they wont let anyone else enter until afternoon when many people leave after the parade. Of course the other parks catch the over flow from MK on Thanksgiving.

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for Elizabeths finger.

Cold here today. I am snuggled under a blanket with Minnie right now.:lmao:

Shell, hope your feeling better today.:goodvibes

So if you had to pick one park that you thought was more manageable on the day after thanksgiving which would it be?
