This coming from the woman who was more than happy to pay extra for the 50+ lb luggage she's taking ...

Be aware that United Airlines (and I'm sure others have followed suit) has raised its overage payment to $125. If you go over 50 lbs..it now costs $125 bucks. Better to take more bags and pay the $25 than to load down the big ones.

I am very good with the weight. I always weigh my luggage at home and I bring a portable luggage scale for the way home. I just don't think I can get it all into just two pieces. Looks like Joey is going to have to sacrafice some clothes if I'm bringing my stripper shoes.

Was gonna report that I was waaaaaay obsessed with Twilight and just geeked out and bought myself the calendar.....BUT.....I see someone else is obsessed too.. ..... LOVE your avatar Christine!!

Shell: The only minivans I saw at the concert were the ones that were pulling out the grills and the tables to play beer pong in the parking lot.....ah yes relieving our youth from the 70's/80's --it was great!!!

Does anyone know the rules with Airtran right now??? Is it just one bag per customer to check in?? and one as a carry on??

Okie, Sue and I are flying airtran also....from what I understand and this might have changed if you check in before you get to the airport the 2nd bag is like 10.00 but if you check in at the airport its 20.00.....I will see if I can forward the email Sue sent me from airtran regarding this.
