Hi Jeff! :wave2:

Have you gotten your land legs back yet?

So your DVC members now or you just purchased more points?

The folks at DVC want Janel and I to come take a tour while we're in Orlando, but its still up in the air whether we will or not.

Not yet. :-)

And we just added points. We had purchased a resale four years ago for Beach Club Villas since that was the ONLY place we wanted to own at the time. Now we just added points on at Animal Kingdom Villas. So we are pretty well set until DVC gets the Hawaii thing going. From what they told us on the cruise, it looks like Hawaii is coming in 2010 or 2011 and the Grand Californian should be ready in 09 or 10.

We're going to try to use our "developer's points" - the bonus that they gave us for adding on over Easter at Saratoga Springs. Anyone else ever stay there? Tonya maybe? How'd you like it?

Oh and - you'll find DVC to be very different than other timeshare presentations. It's VERY low pressure and because of the points system it works differently and is easier to explain I think. We did the Marriott presentation in Maui last year (and actually signed a contract before changing our mind) and we found it to be much more confusing and more high pressure -- even though I know that it wasn't as high pressure as most.

 Hi Christine!
I see your green light on. Did you see the pix I posted of the St. Regis?

We had a chance to stay at SSR, but took the Beach Club instead because everyone says its got a great pool.

The Hawaii resort looks like it will be awesome! :cool1:

It going to be located next to Marriott's Ko Olina resort and Janel and I love that area of Oahu. :thumbsup2

Inspector Cruiseau on the job. This is gonna be one of my toughest cases, seems like nearly everyone on this cruise has issues. Elmer and Verna seem to be about the only ones with no cause for wonder. I am currently researching and watching with diligence for the Hiccups in their own home town and without a doubt this mystery has become obviously riddled with turns and twists. He who is diligent will prevail, for the prevailing wind is sour when standing down wind. On a sweeter note, Only those who perservere will overcome the sour wind, because this wind will pass. The moral of this story is: Only those who stand down wind will suffer.

Inspector Cruiseau

Ok:confused3
After reading this and Shells' comments
I guess your telling us to stand upwind of Mutt??

You made the right choice BCV is awesome and you can walk right into the back entrance of Epcot and take a boat over to Hollywood Studios AND you have the boardwalk at your back door.

I only saw SSR one time- when I went to their spa for a massage. It looks enormous and is close to downtown disney. Honestly we are only going to stay there because we can only use the bonus points at SSR or on a cruise.

Only by the cunning of my wits will you know the answers to the questions. Or is it, only by the questions will you know how cunning I am. Remember, man with large head has large thoughts, but woman with plastic card deflates in hurry. Mutt with potent beans rules the roost, but when all is passed, woman with much to say rules all day. Moral of story: Beans of power soon passes but man that passes bean remain forever.

Not quite sure what it all means, but i like it:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I think Inspector Cruiseau must write the fortunes in Chineses fortune cookies for a living:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yep, they are great. I might look into staying there for Joey's birthday in Feb or mine in April. Next you have to stay in the Montage:teeth: so I can live vicarious though you.

Morning all, wow 3 pages this morning before I got on line, your all busy beavers today:goodvibes

There's this blonde out for a walk. She comes to a river and sees another blonde on the opposite bank.

"Yoo-hoo!" she shouts, "How can I get to the other side?"

The second blonde looks up the river then down the river and shouts back, "You ARE on the other side."

Taxiing down the tarmac, the jetliner abruptly stopped, turned around and returned to the gate.

After an hour-long wait, it finally took off.

A concerned passenger asked the flight attendant, "What was the problem?"

"The pilot was bothered by a noise he heard in the engine," explained the Flight Attendant, "and it took us a while to find a new pilot."

Greg, we loved SRS. It was a little out of the way and the bus did take a while to get anywhere, but it was nice and quite. We didn't get to spend anytime in the pool as we were always going. We ended up with the 2 bedroom condo. It was plush and nice. The kids enjoyed having their own room. We stayed there in July of 07. Its our home resort and I would gladly stay there again.

The wedding date was set and the groom's three pals -
>A carpenter, an electrician and a dentist were deciding
>What pranks to play on the couple on their wedding night.
>
>The carpenter figured sawing the slats of their bed would
>give them a chuckle or two.
>
>The electrician decided to wire the bed -
>with alternating current, of course.
>
>The dentist wouldn't commit himself, but wore a sly grin
>and promised it would be memorable.
>
>The nuptials went as planned and a few days later, each
>of the groom's buddies received the following note:
>
>DEAR FRIENDS, WE DIDN'T MIND THE BED SLATS BEING SAWED.
>THE ELECTRIC SHOCK WAS ONLY A MINOR SETBACK.
>
>BUT I SWEAR BY GOD ALMIGHTY, I'M GOING TO KILL
>WHOEVER PUT NOVACAINE IN THE K-Y JELLY.

Hi Tonya. :wave2:

So how many Nana/DVC owners do we have on the board?

Is the Disney Magical Express bus worth taking or would it be faster and funner to take a limo or just rent a car?
