Well we miss Florida, so in June we wont renew with the renters and will move back oursleves.
Work is still really bad there but low paying jobs are abundant. Greg will take one of those and we will rent out the upstairs to cover the mortgage and 3/4 of the utilities. We need medical benefits which we cant seem to get here and even working at a theme park full time you will get that.

We have 3 large bedrooms upstairs with their own bath, another room for extra storage for renters and a huge loft area for their common area. Only have to share the kitchen and washer and dryer. Kitchen is huge there, so no problem with the either. This has become very popular for people who cant quite afford an apartment on their own because they cost so much, so they look for rooms to rent. Most have to share bathrooms, but we can offer private bath and a pool. Of course the downstairs is all for us accept for the kitchen.

Then when the economy gets better, out the renters will go and we will have our nice house back again.

That is the plan for now. I figure about the time we leave i will be adjusted to the time change, then will have to change again

I completely understand...I soooooo MISS Florida as well. If I could find a job and sell my house, I'd be there tomorrow. I just love everything about FL (kinda strange I'm told but unless you've lived there, I don't think others understand completely). I love the parks of course, everything Disney as well, the ocean & beaches, the weather and just how pretty it is there. LOVE FLORIDA!
I'll be back there again someday soon...sooner the better too!

I'm (Jollyg..Greg) the one traveling 645.1 miles with my wife to visit Vegas for our anniversary, but Christine (lvstitch) can't seem to catch the 215 near her house and drive the 10.3 miles to come and say "HI" to me on the strip or even deliver a pizza?!

I know where my place is on the totem pole?!



I'm just kidding Christine....I remember you posted last week that Joey had to fire your cook!

Nice guilt trip though wasn't it?!

I have been on the phone with my therapist for at least 30 minutes now, and he is just getting me to the point where I am about to stop screaming. Really driving my co-workers crazy!

Guess I'd better start packing, only 24hours left to catch our flight to Vegas!

Wonder if lady luck will be good to me this time?

My wife told me this morning that I cannot bring my laptop to Vegas!

I give myself about a 12.5% chance of winning this one, so I guess I'll be offline for about a week?

I can't remember the last time I was offline for that long? My brain is on my laptop.....I keep track of water/irrigation and canal statistics online to keep the farmers going with water and folks from flooding.....I keep track of stock prices online.......I'm not sure I can go a whole week without internet!!!

Good thing my new cell phone has internet!

Two words: Office Center

All hotels in Vegas have an office center with Internet Access. Actually you can probably access the internet right through the TV in your room.

Afternoon all:


I cannot believe how many pages since last nite. When I went to bed it was like 94 maybe.....man are you guys chatty lately.
I think I need to quit working and just stay home like Greg, so I can post all day!!!!

I didnt have time to read everything....and since I'm leaving at 3am friday morning I guess I wont be able to sit at the computer tonite. We will probably be on thread 5 when I get home sunday nite.!!!

That's really awesome about Lizzie...I used to co-coach swim and loved it! I loved all the excitement, the meets, the team spirit, it was great! Hope she's having a blast.

Thanks. Of all the sports she plays (has played) I love the vibe around swimming the most so I think it's great she loves it so much.
