Good grief......since I joined the Nana's in December this is what I've become:

An a$$less chap/pink shirt wearing Playgirl centerfold who could be Brad Pitt or some other celebrity posing as CIA guarding Yogi Bear as a freelance park ranger?!

I'm sure there is more that I just can't remember and I'm sure there's more coming, but I think I got most of it!

I'm not sure if we'll be able to get out to Henderson because we won't have a car.

We're taking the resort shuttle/limo from the airport to the resort and we'll probably just walk or taxi it from there.

If it's difficult to get a taxi back to the strip from out your way we probably won't come out, but yes PM me your number and if things change I'll call you.

Well going to a wake tonite. A mutual friend of Wally and me their 19 year old daughter was killed in a car accident on the 4th. This was their only child. It's so sad.

Nothing else going on....just getting ready for my weekend trip to Minnesota.

I had Jack back at the vets yesterday. He was actually due to go in for a suture removal from his neutering. But he started bleeding from his rectum. So we think where they did the surgery was a little infected, the vet cleaned it out and he's on antibiotics again. But he seems to be doing very well.

Morning Nana's!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Just woke up....everyone else is still asleep!

Didn't sleep very well last night. I woke up at 2am to the smell of skunk. It was so strong it was burning my nose.

Max, our dog, I could hear under our bed whimpering. I figured that a skunk was somewhere outside.

This time of year we open the windows and doors and pull the screens shut so the house will cool down at night.

I walked out to the living room to shut the french doors in the back of the house and I heard something moving in the living room.

I turned on the light and you guest it......there was a big fat skunk sniffing around the couch. Somehow the screen door got opened and the skunk just walked in.

I whispered "shoo....shoo" and it walked back outside!!

I feel like the luckiest man on earth right now because if that thing would have taken off for the downstairs or anywhere but outside.......I'd probably be posting from a hotel room while the house was being deodorized and cleaned for a week!!

Once the skunk left the smell went away also, so it didn't spray anything in the house!!

First thing I'm doing this morning is finding a way to lock a Phantom screen door!

We can always count on Greg to keep us entertained with a great story! Glad the skunk decided to leave with out any problems!

Good afternoon Nanas-Thanks for posting the great pictures! Just got back from the park with my 3 nieces and SIL. Now we are just chilling out for a while. Looks like it may storm soon . Hopefully it won't be too bad! Hope everyone is having a good day!


Denise-Sorry to hear about your frineds DD. That is so sad! We had a funeral to go to this morning. This was an older lady, but we will really miss her!

Well we made it back in one piece--Joshua did miss our exit off the PA turnpike....he said "oh I'll just turn around"...."Uh son" I said..."the next exit is 13 miles down the road"....he said "oh"....other than that, he did great. Penn State Abington is a beautiful campus I think he will have a great "learning" experience there.....yes, I mean-ACADEMICS

Online now trying to figure out our student loan options --get this--we met with the student aid counsellor....who is all over her desk and book case....THE MOUSE....yep Mickey all over....she is a DVC owner too it was funny...I'm flashing my watch, earrings, talking about DCL, and found out we were at SSR at the same time this past Feb....what a small world!!!

Well.....back to student loans....

Cherish, I mean cherish EVERY second you're in college cause once you're out in the real world.... workin for a living sucks. If you're lucky and smart, you can make that working for a living thing work for YOU.

We are taking Joshua to Penn State Abington for orientation this morning-gonna let him drive and see if he can get there with directions only and no help from mommy and daddy....pray for us....if you never hear from us again, we are lost some where in the philly area
