11-29-08 Nana Heads 3: Tiara Bob & The Dreamboats reunion Cruise CONTINUED THREAD #4!

We are still trying to figure out what we are doing excursion wise on our August cruise. I think we have it figured out and then we see something else or hear of something else. In Puerto Vallarta, we were planning to do a DCL excursion to a beach resort that has gotten great reviews...but then I read on CC about the Westin in PV where you pay them $15/adult and $5 per kid to use their pools, beach, etc. And that is just a WHOLE lot less expensive - and looks way nicer - than the DCL excursion. In Mazatlan, we have a tour booked "Best of Mazatlan" - part tour, part beach resort but I really want to do the zipline there so we may split up for the day. It's getting close so we need to make these decisions.

The hardest thing I decided to do on this cruise is to become the Shell of the cruise, collecting cruisemate info, setting up the meet and coordinating fish extender exchanges. Folks, appreciate our Shell for all her hard work because Im only working with a group of about 12 families and it's wearing me out. I can only imagine how much time Shell devotes. been trying to read all the chatting and get caught up. Mr Jolly G, my chilren ages are Aaron 34, Oscar 32, Violet 26, Selma 26, Buck 11, Lester 10, Mable 9, Minnie 8, Oren 8. I got two sets of twins. Ma and I started little young.
Mom4 x granma4, We were chosen in a raffel for a cruise. This trip will be our first time on airplane and the first time most of the kids have been outta Arkansas. Wanted to mention that because I still want to drive to Florida instead of fly, if the good Lord had wanted me to fly he woudnt have made trucks. This old boy is ready for bed so better say goodnight.

Every night its the same thing by the time i get back here in the evening you've gone to bed, accept Joanna and Greg. They're always later than me.


Elmer, good to see you posting again. 2 sets of twins, WOW! I think after the first set I would of been afraid to have any more

I hate to fly to but it is the fastest and safest way to travel. Just take something to do to keep busy and you'll be fine. Lots of airports will rent you a small movie player and rent you a movie and you return it at the OIA when you arrive. that helps pass the time or a book to read.

Elmer, looks like we've got kids close to the same age. I've got a son Chayce who will be 13 and a daughter Nicole who will be 8 in December.

I come from a large family also....I have 10 siblings.
