Greg ... I noticed we didn't get any details about your accident. I guess we'll just use Wendy's analysis as the word :lmao:

Well its a long story and I don't have the strength to sit up and type for that length of time yet.:lmao:

For now lets just say I went sky diving and had a parachute malfunction......ya....thats it, skydiving?! :rolleyes1

Wendy, nice pictures. Glad you guys had fun on your trip.

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to try and read back through all the posts I've missed tomorrow.....if I'm feeling like I can sit up that long! :lmao:

Good night

Hey Bob.....agreed, you don't mention driving around with your top down on your Mustang and I won't mention that I was in the hospital with my top and bottoms OFF while they assessed my injuries. It just wouldn't be right either! :lmao: ...........:sad2:

Glad to see your funny bone wasn't damaged!:lmao:

Happy Friday Everyone! It was a LOOOOONG day at work yesterday. I went in expecting to put in my 8 and go home for a nice evening. 11 hours later I finally was able to leave!:scared1: I don't do days like that!

But, the weekend is almost here, and today should be a cake walk!:cool1:

Good Morning All:

Well Im up WAY too early. We had storms come through about 530 this morning and it was so windy that I thought it had blown our door open in our bedroom. So then I was up and the alarm was going off. We are fine, Hunter's step brothers school is canceled due to power outages and a little town down south has some damage. So we are lucky. I hope everyone has a great day.

ttyl.

WHAT???...I so don't believe you :sad2:

Just got back from going with Stephanie and Elizabeth to garage sales. It is unbelievable what you can find for little ones at garage sales. Not only clothes still with the price tags on them, but some good play clothes. We found some books (especially Disney ones!) for 3/$1.00!

Well, I better get something accomplished today--laundry to do, again!

Now that must have been a sight to see-Greg with his a**less chaps falling form the sky:rolleyes1

Will we ever get a straight answer out of you?:confused3 :lmao:

Hope you are starting to feel better.

Good Afternoon:banana:  This morning I went and bought some flowers. I know it's still early for up here, but I had a coupon:cool1: .

It is getting dark now, so I think we are in for some storms. It looks like rain tomorrow too:guilty: I was hoping to get outside tomorrow.

Lynn-Sorry about your dog:grouphug: It is hard to make that decision.

Wendy-Thanks for sharing your pictures. Looking forward to hearing more.

Shell-Heres to hoping you win that megamillions today. You will share the wealth with your  friends right?

Well I better go. TTYL

Hey Christine, I'm here. Not much consolation cause im not the WOO.

I am ready to push the do over button for today. I got 4 hours sleep thanks to spousal maintenance and the storm, i've messed up payroll, and its only 1 pm. Can't wait to see what else today holds for me.

Last call for anyone who wants to join me tomorrow night for the Bachelorette Party:dance3: :dance3: There still plenty of time for you guys to fly away from you bad weather and come party in Vegas party:

Afternoon Nana's!

Just got back from having some tests and x-rays. It looks like I didn't break any ribs after all, or any bones for that matter! :woohoo:

I did tear the cartilage that connects your ribs to your sternum. The doctor said it probably would have been better if I had broken ribs as the cartilage will take allot longer to heal and is much more painful! :sad2: (don't I know it?) :scared1:

My leg looks like it will heal ok, but I'm going to have one heck of a scar!! (about the size of a softball!)

Ok, since nobody's buying my skydiving story I guess I'd better "come clean". :rotfl2:

All right, yes it was on my motorcycle, but no I wasn't wearing any a$$less chaps! :sad2:

Irrigation season starts in another week and I'm the water master so I took off on my bike to check the canal system to ensure it was clean and ready to receive water.

When I left my house allot of the neighbor kids were on their bicycles and they followed me to the main canal which is right behind my house. I told them not to follow me across the canal because it was too dangerous. I proceeded to drive down into the canal and made it up the other side.

I started to accelerate through an alfalfa field (which I've driven my motorcycle through hundreds of times) and turned around to make sure the kids were not following me. All of a sudden I was airborne (here is where my skydiving comes in :lmao: )

They say that time slows down when you’re in an accident and through this experience I believe it to be true. I was probably only in the air 1-2 seconds, but it felt like a minute. I think I even passed a duck while I was sailing through the air! :rotfl:

Without getting into gory painful details after I hit the ground I'll skip ahead after I finally awoke.

No one was around. The kids took off. I was hoping they had left to get help....no one came!

Unknown to me, someone had driven their truck through the alfalfa field while it was still wet and left some deep ruts in the mud and when it dried it hardened. When I turned around to see if the kids had followed me my front wheel hit one of the ruts and threw me off the bike at about 25mph.

After about 20 minutes of laying in agony I figured no one was coming to my aid so I dragged myself over to my bike (which was mainly undamaged and luckily has an electric starter) I managed to get it upright and started so I road it back home!

Once I got in the house I called my wife (who happened to be only a few miles away) she rushed home and drove me to the hospital.

And the rest, as they say, is history!

I told you it was a long story! :lmao:

Where is everyone today?

Greg, So glad that you weren't "seriously" hurt and able to get back on your bike.:scared1: You didn't have your cell phone with you? That is one of my worst fears that I get hurt and no one around  Thank goodness your sense of humor didn't get hurt. We've missed your sharp wit!

Christine, How I wish we could just hop on the plane and come join you at your party! :dance3:

Lorna, you painted a picture of Greg I just as soon do without!

I'll check back in later.

Hi Dawn,

Normally I always have my cell phone with me, but this time I didn't take it because it was on the charger and I wasn't planning on being gone very long.

I'll be taking it everywhere now!

Your right Lorna that would have been a site to behold!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Good evening all. I'm back from philly. business travel is so glamorous. Full flight...guy in the middle seat next to me (I was on the aisle) was actually halfway in my seat and wouldn't move. I'm sore now after sitting for an hour hanging out in the aisle. I do not miss the travel i used to do.

Busy weekend. Dance and soccer tomorrow before we hit the road to visit with Bill and Shell! :cool1: Can't wait to see you folks. the girls are also very excited.

My heart goes out to Pat and Steve. We've just been through it so I know how hard it is.

Christine, I'm so happy you are out of the closet for your upcoming cruise! :rotfl: I so much can't wait to hear all about it. Our deadline for excursions is coming up in a little more than a week and we haven't really made any final decisions. Have you and Joey decided what you will be doing excursion wise?

Have a great night all. And Shell and Bill, see you real soon!
:goodvibes
