Mom saw the ship. She said it looked like Fireworks over her house.

Acording to Disney themselves there is no first dining available. We have been trying to get earlier since January.


NASA tickets can be gotten from your local congresman for free. Most will say they know nothing about it but after looking into it it works out.I learned that from here a year ago when we booked. I called and after a few days of phone tag I got a great man to call me and said he got my whole family free all access passes for the 6th. Whohoo. I know we wont get to see much but we will do what we can. This will be the boys first time and I havent been there since I was 6.

we requested early dinning 2 weeks ago and was informed we have it now so i don't know why they are sayin that.

I have fired one up a time or too but not a real smoker. Nothin like a good stogi and a glass of bourbon though

Wow, I was just looking at prices for our cruise, they haven't gone up all the much and first and second seating is still available. Plus you can still pick your room. I have never seen it this empty this close. Nanas will for sure rule the ship

Hi Wendy! You must be off work tomorrow. Just got back from the Pitt basketball game. Pitt won 86-63. Beat a patsy team tonight but they look VERY tough this year; currently ranked #5 in preseason poll.

Hey all, just wanted to pop in. Give you and update on my life.
In college, good grades, great campus. Apartment is nice, but I may not keep it for next year. Too expensive. Making lots of friends up here, having a great time. Got a new girlfriend and shes a wonderful person. Shes sweet and kind and beautiful.
Professors are awesome, my math teacher is goofy as anything, learning about volume of a curve . Music is boring, but we're talking about Bach...
Writing paper in English about alternative energy sources. Chemistry is challenging so I'm keeping busy.
Hopefully I will talk again on a daily basis!!

lots of times you can still change to early dining when you board the ship.
The paper they give you at check in will give the name of a club and a time for changing dining times and getting reservations for Palos.
Go there right at the start of the time stated on the paper.
You'll have a good chance of getting it changed. They always save a few tables just for this, plus some people will want to change to late time.

Sometimes it happens right on the sopt, other times they will call within 24 hours if you get a change.

gosh....what a day! tonight was the Fall Festival at DD's school. It is organized and put together by the PTA and I'm on the PTA Committee Board. Haven't been on today because had lots and lots to do. Went in to school this morning when taking DD to school and helped out there for a couple of hours, then came home to get some work done (wasn't to successful). No one had brought any baked goods in for desserts so I fixed 2 batches of brownies, rice krispie treats, 48 cupcakes and 2 cakes for the cake walk...Whew!!!! Glad this event is past us now. Not as good of a turnout as last year because we had horrible rain today with local flooding off and on all day. Anyway, now my weekend consists of working all weekend just about because I have a ton...I mean a ton of work to get done! I work with a pharmacy servicing nursing facilities and rest homes. We have to get there MAR's, short for Medication Administration Records, printed and sent out by UPS by the 21st....all 166 of them and did I mention I was behind? I'll try to check-in with you guys off and on though. I love it when it gets this close to cruise time . After the 21st I'll have a little bit of a breather. I'll only have to worry about my medical dictation work . Hey, just saw the replay of the launch on the NASA chanel. That is just so awesome!! Really hope we can see them land on the 29th!! Gotta get in the bed now before I fall out right here on the couch! Never sleep good when I fall asleep on the couch. Type to you all in the AM!!

Hey is anyone sending a box of stuff to the Port? I'm wondering would if this coming Tuesday, the 18th, would be too late to send a box? I would really hate for it not to get there in time for me to have it in our stateroom when we board the ship! Later....
