There is a loose flap in the housing at the pad directly next to the shuttle. Once the shuttle launches, there is the possibility of shuttle damage. However, the NASA crew has decided it is not an issue, so it looks like a go.

Boys and I watching the launch on tv. Mom and dad just went outside to their porch. It flys over and they can always see it. The boys are so excited since we got free full access tickets for the day we get back to Nasa.

Sounds great!

I hope so. It will give us 4 new ports we have never been to and 2 we have been too and lots of sea days with plenty of new events and entertainment to keep us busy.
The only downside is flying to Barcelona from Oregon if we are still here. Thats almost 20 hours in a plane(with layovers) all together. I hate to fly

But it will be worth it to do the cruise

Just got the final GO to launch and the countdown clock is starting to countdown from 9 minutes and counting.

We had thought about going once we got back to Port Canaveral, but I'm not sure we'd have time and we'd have to pay for our tickets and I think they were like $40 per person!

I am heading outside to watch the launch. It should be a great view from my front yard. I'm taking my camera and will post photos if they turned out ok.
