I hope you get some sun soon but I agree that rain is better then snow! It's supposed to be in the 40s here today so we're slowly warming up.

On the first page of this thread you will see the total for each 250 pages when we have to go to a new thread.

I have counted them for all the bananahead cruises. I dont know why, I just did it on the first cruise and it snowballed from there.

I am making cinnamon rolls today to kill time. When it pours rain it is so boring here. They are on their 3rd rising, then to bake them, cool and ice them.

Just making tuna sandwiches for dinner since we have the cinnamon rolls for dessert.

Today we had rain, wind, hail, and bitter cold today. Low in the 20's tonight. Thats a 25 degree drop from last night.

Okay Kathy, send me some of those cinnamon rolls. They are my absolute favorite. In fact, DH used to treat me to them every now and then when we would drive to FLA (Cinnabon is at this rest stop in MD). Then I read that book "Eat This, Not That".

OMG! Those things are almost 1,000 calories and I'm not even counting the ones from FAT!!! And you know I always put the extra icing on them. Guess I'll be eating soy crisps from now on.

I just got home and found that I got 2 tickets to see The View on March 17th. I don't even remember putting in for them. I must have done it when I was home from work for a week. I now have to go in and ask my crazy boss for the day off. I'd call out sick for the day but with my luck someone would see my on television!

Alright, off the bed for me. I'm exhausted. It's been a long week.

And here are more bananas for you. But I like the colored ones better.

Shhhhhh!! We don't think about the calories when I make them
I do cut back on a few things. I make them with sugar substituted and egg beater not real eggs which helps. DH is diabetic so I have to be careful how I bake!! I can't eat them , but it smells so good i love to make them anyway

That would be my dumb luck. My mother said I remind her of Eeyore because she always pictures me with black cloud over my head.
I work in mid-town Manhattan and one day I wanted to run to the American Girl store to buy something really fast for Christmas. I didn't want to wait until lunch because the store gets packed, make sense. So I snuck out and walked down the block only to realize that I was walking past the Today show studio and was walking behind the anchors when they were filming. And of course my boss was home sick. I just kept praying that he really was sick in the bathroom and wasn't watching tv. I lucked out.

Greg the rolls came out really good. Greg ate 3 last night and 2 for breakfast Not the best breakfast but you gotta do a splurge once in awhile. Of course his lunch and dinner are healthy.

Hi Jeff, glad you had time to drop by. I know you said you had a busy week this week after being sick. One of my brothers has that crud now andi s really sick. So far we have escaped any really bad stuff. Just a 24 hour bug. I hope it stays that way.




well we are cloudy, cold and dry today. Hopefully the rain will stay away for a few hours to dry us up some. It is a mucky mess in the grass so I have to wash the dogs with every break they take.

Well Kathy - MY luck is that I am sick again. I think we are all passing it back and forth among each other and now I have the stomach bug that the girls had gotten earlier. *SIGH* This is getting really old.

Make sure the girls bring a doll with them. The dolls can have their hair done. And they put a little seat attached to the table so that the dolls "eat" at the table with the girls. They actually do a nice job with the meal. We've been pleasantly surprised. And my DD is psyched that my job moved from Tribeca to a block away from the store. We have dinner planned for the "Take Your Daughter to Work" day. She's more excited about that then coming into the office.

Oh yeah, and the AG store has items that are specific to the store. They have outfits and hats and little book bags that will say "AG Place New York". And all the great stuff that they see in the catalogs is on display. They're going to have a blast. And your wallet will be a bit lighter. Enjoy the city!

Well the girls haven't been to the store yet but I've had several visits when in the city for business. My oldest is kind of "over" it all but I think she'll get excited at the store and in seeing how excited her little sister gets. The oldest is looking to do some shopping - Aeropostale, Gap, abercrombie...

I saw cinnamon rolls one morning in the buffet that looked really good. But mine are better!!! I wish they would let me bake on the ship or go watch them work in the bakeries. I love to cook and bake. I have been doing it since i was about 3 years old. Baking bread and rolls by myself by age 5.

I know I could teach them a thing or two about their sugar free desserts!!

They could have a better variety with more flavor really easy and not break the budget! Most dont notice the poor choices because they dont choose sugar free but my DH can only have the sugar free.

I think I will make brownies tonight to take to my moms tomorrow. She asked about the cinnamon rolls but they will be stale by then.
