I have a nephew who lives in Jacksonville. We have been down to St. Augustine several times. That is one of the most beautiful cites around. I love the spanish style there.

9 months of cold and rain would be hard to put up with. Maybe instead of looking at 5th wheels, you should just go ahead and get one of those customized Prevost!!!!!! You could ride out the rain and cold in style!!!!:lmao:

If your buying, I'm driving:thumbsup2

greg use to build Beaver coaches years ago and back then they went 1/2 million dollars:eek:

we have seen some of those million dollar coaches and they are beautiful but not practical for living in.

Now theyhave one where the side slide out is a covered patio.
some have fireplaces and some have a sundeck on top of the RV, inside stairs go up to it. I would hate to clean the mirrored areas:headache:

There are a lot of RV dealers close to us and they have been advertising like crazy. Many of them have units for sale from manufacturers who are out of business (Alfa, Travel Supreme, etc.) They have been advertising prices well below what they use too, but who wants to buy when the company is out of business? Many of them offer free extended warranties, but still....

Unless the economy picks up, many more may see hard times.

heres something for you to ponder

I dont think it will pickup for at least 5 years. Probably take another 5 to fully recover. It all revolves around the housing indusrty which is Greg line of work. This is our 3rd time through this type of recession but this is the worst one so far. last one took 6 years to fully recover.
we lost everything the first 2 times, even had to sell kids toys to buy food for them.

we saw it coming this time, so even though its really tight we didnt loose our shirts or belongings.

You'd be amazed at how many people here are living full time in Rv;s and trailers because its $300 a month plus electric which is cheaper than apartments or houses when work is hard to find. Used trailers are selling like crazy for living in, not recreation. I think many will be doing that in the near future. Until things turn around.
