Hopefully this will do it, I am going to leave for a couple , maybe 3 hours to go to Roseberg to check out a doggie hotel for pups to stay if we need to go without them sometime.

The girls had fun golfing not sure if I would call it that though Alicia's kept secretly kicking her ball closer

Kierra had two headaches tonight and again very moody...I just feel so bad for her

at least you know whats causing the problem and soon you'll have a resolution to it
This is just practice for you for when she becomes a teenager, then she will really be moody
She is a sweetheart and will pull through this like a champ

Hi Dawn,

we just got back from checking out a doggie resort AKA kennel.
It wasnt too bad. I prefer those where the dogs can all run together all day but this one they have long indoor/outdoor runs which are all inside but through a doggie door. 3 to 4 times a day they are turned into one of 7 exercise yards for 15 minutes to run and play and get fresh air.

we only want to leave them for 4 to 8 hours during a saturday now and then to get accustomed to the idea of a kennel.
There is one in Florida we want to leave them at for the cruise and the dogs run all day long with other dogs and people but they need to pass an evaluation to do that.
Minnie would do great but Pixie isnt socialized enough yet. So this should help her. while w elooked around they got to run in a yard for about 20 minutes. they keptlooking for us, very nervous.

I do think after 3 or 4 times they will adjust and then when we get to Florida we will be there 3 weeks before the cruise so they can do day stays a few times, then an over night too. Before the cruise.
They have web cams so I can go online and watch them anywhere in the complex.

I dont know why this is so hard for me to do. You would think I am hiring a babysitter for a kid.
But I only have 4 months to get them use to this kind of thing.

I will call monday to se tup a saturday or sunday at their first opening to leave them while we go through wildlife safari. They charge $15 per dog per day and that includes food and blanket and water of course.

I think that is an ok rate?

Checking back in. It was a great day for swimming, really hot so the pool was just right!!!!!!

Kathy, that safari sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you find a place for your dogs, I don't blame you for being careful about where they are.

greg went on line and took a satellite photo of our house in Florida and we looked at the pool and were green with envy
I cant wait to be back in my own house again.

Do yoy guys miss Florida a lot?

I have always thought it would be kind of cool to travel around in an RV. At least you still have the house in Florida to go back to. It would be nice to live that close to WDW and the coast too. I was suprised when we drove over to the port from WDW last year. It did not take long at all.

we do miss all the fun things to go out and do there. Sea world, Universal, WDW,
St. Augustine, the Keys, The Holylands, Gatorland, Cypress Gardens, Silver Springs and more.

we like to camp, and hike and such here but 9 months of the year it is cold and pours rain. That is no godd in an RV, cabin fever will set in.

we do love traveling in the Rv and sight seeing. we used to own a new RV back in 95 and went around alot with it.
I especially love South Dakota and we hope to snow bird when we retire.

I have a nephew who lives in Jacksonville. We have been down to St. Augustine several times. That is one of the most beautiful cites around. I love the spanish style there.

9 months of cold and rain would be hard to put up with. Maybe instead of looking at 5th wheels, you should just go ahead and get one of those customized Prevost!!!!!! You could ride out the rain and cold in style!!!!
