Chuck, Your furry kids are cute! Poor Westie! What are their names? You hear us talking about our "kids" by name. Mine is Alexis, Kathy's are Minnie and Pixie.

The Westie is Saphi and the Poodle is Kali, the cats are Patsy and Edina...

Thanks Dawn, that was at the entrance to the park. It was created by an artist. I think Chris took better pictures of them close up if I get a chance (and don't get interrupted here... I'll go find them so you can see them.

Alex really thought this place was neat and wanted to stop everytime we drove by.

I fought the infertility battle with my first husband and didn't have children for a very long time. At that time my minature pinschers were my children. So I know how close you can be with your pets.

We have a yellow lab "Bronze" and a grey cat "Gandalf the Grey" or "Gans".

Hi everyone,

Melanie, great photos, makes me wish I was camping too, wait, I am camping all the time right now But we dont have fire rings here, wish we did, it really would seem like camping if we could roast hot dogs and marshmallows.

I even roast hot dogs for my dogs.

when we first got minnie Greg said when he got home he thought I was preparing for another baby, I bought toys, a bed, dishes and a blanket, food and treats. It cost almost a smuch as settting up a nursery

Pixie had hand me downs

Speaking of that little devil, I had taken them outside to sit and relax and enjoy the weather. So I didnt put their harnesses on, just clipped their leashes around their necks in case i needed to keep them close if someone walked by. when we came in, I had a phone call and had to "go", so I didnt take the leashes off right away as usual.

I looked over and saw Minnie sleeping in the chair and pixie laying on the floor below her. Minnie's leash was hanging off the chair and Pixie chewed off 3 pieces of it, plus she chewed her leash right close to where it went around her neck.

When I saw it she just wagged her tail and nuzzled the pieces like she was so proud of what she had done
I called Greg just as he was leaving work and asked him to stop and buy 2 more leashes on the way home.
Now she is chewing up a rubber tire that she isnt suppose to be bale to chew up I guess she needs to chew today.

Ok... one more... this is kind of funny.

We hear a lot about Lewis and Clark because we are on the Lewis & Clark trail and they just had the 200 year anniversary. So they have built a lot of monuments and visitor centers and we've seen a few of them.

So I looked up and Jackson was posing like this and I said "take it... he's being Lewis & Clark..."

(You know how they always show them pointing west or something...)

That is cure, maybe he needs a coon skin cap like Davy Crocket, Lewis and clark had similar clothes for warmth.

He will get a kick out of that picture when he gets older.

Good morning all,
boy its dead here this morning, its 10:30 eastern time

I look on the local 6 web cam this morning and it was looking at the Wonder I love seeing both of the ships, it makes my day

we were very foggy today but now it has burned off and the sun is coming out. YEAH!! Hopefully that means it will warm up later today
