I see Kathy's been talking to herself again... must be the lack of sunshine:lmao:

Not to rub it in but it is really beautiful here this afternoon-evening. About 72 and sunny. People are out everywhere enjoying it.

I took a walk at 4:00 before the kids came home.

Well.. Jackson is showing that he's a 2 year old.... temper tantrum. So I think it's time for him to head to bed!

I have to talk to myself, nobody else will talk to me:confused:
I am going nuts with all the rain. Greg has been looking for work in all the states , even Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, we want our sunshine back a gain,

Kathy

I wondered how long you'd last! The motorhome is getting smaller and smaller and smaller isn't it! But keep saying to yourself: This too shall pass.

Another beautiful day in Michigan. Cross my fingers it's here to stay but we aren't out of the clear yet...it's only the end of April :scared: !

Good morning ladies:goodvibes

It poured rain all night but we actually have some sun this morning:thumbsup2

Dawn, I dont mind the motorhome at all, it is easy to keep clean because it is small and for just us it has plenty of room.
I just hate the bad weather so we cant get out unless we get soaked:sad2:

I feel the same in a house, but of course I can do more things in a house but even when works comes we will be staying in the motorhome for a few weeks to find the right place.
Many years ago during a bad recession in the 80's we lived in an 18 foot trailer(not motorhome) for 18 months at the foot of Mt. Bachelor where we had had huge snow drifts, hot summers, beautiful spring and fall weather. Now that was small. 6 people we couldnt even turn around. Lucky the kids were young, Peter was born when we were living there. He had to sleep with us on a couch that folded down, Marie, Randy and Rachel all slept on the table that folded down. now that was small!!
So the motorhome is huge to me. :goodvibes

well Greg is going to drive to Portland to see his mom today, before the price of gas makes it impossible to go. we are $3.65 a gallon most places, we have a station 10 cents less, hopefully it still is today.

I will be back soon to try for top of the page again:woohoo:

Kathy

I made 2 kinds of brownies yesterday.
One was cake like, one is fudge like.
The fudge type is really rich and need to be cut smaller.
It was a new recipe for me.

Tonight will be chili dogs and tomorrow will be steak in the slow cooker:thumbsup2

Kathy

Got to be getting close to the top of the page.
I can ramble on for along time if I have to.
I want another top this morning,

I am soooooooo greedy:lmao: :lmao:

Kathy

Well gas is soooo high today we may have to go back to the days of our youth and ride motorcycles around, just not sure how well the dogs will sit in a sidecar, hopefully they have doggie helmets and goggles:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kathy

Our local bird refuge has thousands of geese landing the past few days as they migrate. I think they are confused with all the cold snowy weather.
bu tit is a sight to see as the huge flocks come in all landing at the same time.
Kathy

I forgot to say Greg has an interview next monday in Eugene for a Project manager for some company, I dont know the details. we arnt real excited because we really want a job to come through back in Florida or close to there but we will see what happens. if offered the job it may just hold us over until a better one comes along.

Kathy

Randy had an interivew yesterday and would like the job if offered. it is in Molalla which is a small country type town near here. it is a maintenance worker for an assisited living facility with good pay, benefits and hours.
He will know by friday, so wish him luck,

Kathy

YEAH!! TOP OF THE PAGE 2 DAYS IN A ROW!!

Dawn I am catching up with ya;)

Oh and Peter has an interview late today with safeway which would be awesome for him.

back later,

Kathy

Well it sound like the guys are getting interviews! I hope something works out for them!

I feel like I am being educated in the Washington weather, because I never realized they had such a short summer season.

It is really beautiful here today. It is in the high 70's with sunshine. I had to put some wallpaper on some foam core which we are going to use as a prop so I put on my shorts and my flip flops and it really felt great!!!:thumbsup2

The sun is out and shinning brightly, we are up to 48 degrees, however you can hardly stand up due to high winds and the wind chill makes it feel like 34.

But I love seeing the sun!!

Kathy

By the way Jackson moved into his big boy bed last week.
I put some recent photos of the kids on my blog here:

http://ruhaak.blogspot.com/

I was going to just post them... but now I can't find the original files. My life is in much disarray from when I had my own computer and desk in one spot at my job.

Have a great night! I'm never going to get top of the page again at this rate!:rotfl:

The boys should be back from the beach soon, then we can find out how the job interview went.
keeping fingers crossed:goodvibes

Managers jobs usually take 2 interviews, but that is ok too.
May not even know for a few days.

later,
Kathy

Greg had agood visit with his mom but his sister and her husband were not at home when he was in town.
hope he can see her next time, she is very ill and has outlived her life expectancy by a lot of years now.

Raining so hard!! UGH!!

Kathy
