Just stopping by to say HI. We have a soccer tournament this weekend. Hopefully it will go smoothly. I think I only have 7 or 8 games tomorrow, but I get to work with Trey (DH) which will make it worth while.

Hope everyone has a great Friday and a greater weekend.

I know you didn't mean it Dawn... just had to give you hard time:lmao:

Good luck at the tournament Tonya. Chris is thinking of playing softball this spring/summer. First time we've done anything along those lines in a few years.

YUCKY !! we have cold rain today.:scared: now I know I am in Oregon, it is cloudy, rainy, dark and depressing outside. I knew it was going to be like this because I lived here all but 10 years of my life but I still hate the cold wet weather.

will be glad when we can spend summers here and winters in florida where we can be nice and warm.

Good morning, just thought I would start off by venting about the weather here:lmao:
Sporpio WELCOME!! Sorry I havnt read back to your introduction, so I will just ask, what your first name is? Mine is KATHY and i usually post alot and have a loud, big mouth:rotfl2: I am the mean one of the group. I threaten people with my whip if they dont post often enough. (see my signature)

We are crusiing as a couple, no kids or grandkids this trip. This will be our 19th DCL cruise if w emake the 08 cruise, not sure about that one yet, we are trying but DH got laid off awhile back so we will see how it goes but we are definately planning on this one.

Looking forward to chatting with you over the next few months, please feel free to ask questions if you have them, we have all experienced most areas of the ships and a lot of the excursions and would be ahppy to answer questions if we can.

Got to run all, have a great friday,

miss y'all a lot,

Kathy

I'm lucky I don't have to actually play. I just run around in the middle and blow my whistle and tell the parents to shut their mouths. Its about all the fun I can handle for one day.

This weekend is suppose to be absolutely beautiful here. 60s and sunny! So looking forward to it!

:woohoo: Woo Hoo! Top of the page.

I was just about to put in my 2 cents about the 30 something activities when I realized we will no longer be 30 somethings on this cruise :scared:

But we had a great time last time - put the kids in the club (like we could ever get them out) and had a chance to go dancing! Tons of stuff to do and child free areas in case you need a break from everyone else's rugrats!

So let's see if being a 40 something can be more fun this cruise......;)

Send some safe driving vibes our way - I'm driving to SC and back this weekend to meet my parents who will take the kidlets to FL for the week (no Disney - just pool and grandparent time). DH can't come he's working so I'll be driving back alone - no biggie just a bit boring.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

If you haven't already left, stop at the library and get yourself a book by tape. Makes time go a little faster.

Good morning from a wet, cold, miserable weather day in Oregon :lmao:
Which is normal for this time of the year.
Not much happening today, just trying to relax for a bit and to stay warm .

Hope everyone has a good weekend planned.

catch ya later,

Kathy:flower3:

Hi,
if anyone is interested, I posted a few photos on the 08 thread,
right now I am too lazy to post them both places, so have a look if your interested,

good night all,

kathy

Howdy everyone,
guess everyone is out having a good weekend since nobody seems to be around today.

will check back this evening to see if anyone is around,

kathy

Michelle-
I was 41 on the cruise in November and had a great time!! :scared1: Oh dear...now I'm giving myself away!!! I started late so I'm an "older mom" with little ones.

Kathy-
Thanks for sharing. Will have to check out your photos later. It's 60 degrees and sunny here. Yesterday was nice too, I took the kid's to the zoo as Chris had photo shoots and meetings most of the day. Now it's my turn to work and process what he did... so I'd better stop goofing off and get to it.

Hi Dawn! :) Hi Everybody else!

Hey Mel!

It was soooo great to be outside again! It was 65+ here today. Boys are on spring break this week so I hope I can get some stuff done!

Good morning everyone from a cloudy, rainy, cold Oregon:sad2:

wish the sun would shine for a bit, all these dark clouds are very depressing.

not much happening right now to report on, so will just check back later.

Dawn,
good to hear you have good weather for the boys on spring break.

Kathy

Not to go on about the weather... but it's not as nice here this week as last. Supposed to be raining off and on the next couple days. So you're not alone with the dreary Kathy.

Glad things are nice in Michigan though Dawn!

I suppose I should go exercise but I'd really rather just go to bed. Haven't had a lot of energy lately....

Dawn, how are things going with your knees?

hey they just said by this weekend we are going to hit 70:goodvibes

of course I will believe it when I see it.

good night everyone,

Kathy

Good Morning Everyone!

It's been too long since I dropped by. Wow everyone has been real busy.

It has been a crazy winter here this year...way to much snow...at least we have fog now which will melt the snow.

We are leaning towards joining everyone again in 2009...it has taken me a while to make Glen forget about him & the girls getting so sick;). We want to make the clubs work for us this time...since I didn't get to see very much of the adult areas or to socialize with everyone:sad1:. We figure the girls being 5&7 and in the same club will work better. My mom mentioned she might be interested in joining us but may only want to do a 4 day. So I have to talk to her a little more before we book.

Thanks for asking about the knees, Melanie. I discussed it with my primary care doctor last month and he suggested going to a school hospital...like U of M. But, I don't know, it's scary. I just don't have the energy or money that it involves to pursue this right now.
