I looked at the drawings of the new ships from that magazine and there really are not a lot of more details I can give you except they look bigger. I'm wondering how accurate they are because it looks like they just made them look like the old ships except larger!

Good luck with the fish extender business. When it hits the big time then I can say "I knew her when she was just starting"!

I am thinking about booking this cruise for 09 and just wanted to stop in and say hi. We went on our first Magic cruise last Sept (Eastern) and my son loved it and can't wait to go back. It will be myself --Tonya and my son Zane who will be 8 at the time. It seems like this is a regular time for most of ya'll to cruise. How is the weather this time of year? Is everything decorated at this time for Christmas?

hope you will decide to join us.
This will be the 4th cruise together for many of us, the 3rd time for others.
we are known as the banana heads, will explain later if you join in the group because then you will be a bananahead.

The ship is decorated for Christmas and there is a tree lighting ceremony the first day. It is so cool, be sure and be in the atrium not on an upper deck so when it is over you can see the surprize the best!!

The weather is great. Florida was cool in the evening before the cruise. we were all trying to visit outside at the Radisson hotel but it got so cold we had to go in before it got very late.

The islands were great and we even did snorkeling without freezing.

Oh, I am kathy, I am the mean old lady who threatens people with my whip (see my signature) to make sure they keep posting. Just the two of us,kids are all grown and moved out

I am not too mean here yet because we are so far away and we all have an Nov 08 cruise to do first.

He missed school last time but it was only 1st grade. This time it will be 3rd grade, not sure how much of a difference that makes.

Maybe you could make a deal with his teachers for him to keep a diary of what he saw on the islands or write a report on how different people live on the islands compared to home or something like that.
Plus as long as they know ahead of time you can usually get all his work ahead of time and do it before the trip so he wont have to worry about it while on vacation. Most teachers will work with you .

Hope you can book with us, the sooner you can book the lower the price will be too. It keeps creeping up each month.
