I called Delta and changed our departure flight out of Orlando to Dec. 14 instead of the 13, so we now have an extra day to do everything.

Its rainy and cold here! Weatherman says we may see snow by the end of the week!

Kathy, better be carefull with that head cold.....that's how mine started out!

Well thats the first day done,

I had a strange day and I am not sure how i feel the people were nice.

I went on the bus and it was horrible full of threatening kids and talk of stabbing people really very scary not sure what to do about that.

Geez I hope it's been better since!

Sorry it took so long...my mom loves to go shopping for bargins...I take her everywhere when she's in...it gets very tiring after a few days...

OH people we now have 92,879 posted on this thread, we are almost to the big 100,000!!!

Do signature bananas count? If it does we are well over 100,000 now! Greg has 622 post and 60 nana's in each post 37320 and I have 473 and 55 nana's 26015! That's a lot of banana's!

Well my throat isn't near as sore as it has been, but my voice is still vary raspy?

How are you feeling today? It freaks Alicia out when I loose my voice She gets pretty upset at me.

Wow Greg! You were up early!

Elizabeth had a terrific time at Tumblebugs! They had an agility course, played and sang songs, the parachute, running games, and the little dollies that they rode like a train.

Stopped to vote and didn't have to wait!

Now I'm back. Still not as nice out as yesterday--hopefully, just taking a little longer today.

Of course, I'll check back.

What's Tumlebugs? Sounds neat.

The voting lines looked so long on TV...it looked crazy!

Morning all,
I am here, just got a slow start this morning.

Our dogs just kept being so restless all night and even at 5 a.m. this morning. pacing and going to the door and window and low growls and little barks now and then. Minnie came and sat beside where i was sleeping. I thought they just heard the rain on the metal roof and wind. It is a new noise for them.

Then at 5:45 a neighbor knocked, we were up and he said Randy (the man who I told you about who had the broken neck and back) needed help. He had fallen in the bath room (rec room) and laid there on the cold tiles all night. apparently he had been banging the bathroom stall doors and screaming for help all night.
Thats what our dogs heard since we are parked closest to it.
He said he just laid there and prayed to die he hurt so bad.

so Greg, Rich (who found him) and Chuck all went to help him. First by getting warm jacket for him, Rich got his pain pills ans then waited for them to start to kick in,. then all 3 had to help him up and to his trailer.

He was screaming in pain. He lives in horrible pain all the time and the meds dont get rid of all of it. He has been to a pain clinic and so far they can t help either. He is actually numb from his knees down and his elbows down which also makes it hard to get around.
after the paramedics got doen with him a few months ago he is 10 X worse than before. He needs to get out of the trailer and into a small home or mobile home to stay warmer and to get rid of the steps into his place. Problem is then he wouldnt have friends around to help him.

He has a cell phone but always forgets to take it with him.
I guess he fell a few days ago by the dumpster by my window but we must have been gone because I didnt see him and the dogs didnt bark. It took him 2 hours to get up. I cant believe none of us saw him.

we will be checking in on him good the next few days, more than usual and rich is walking his dogs.
That is why I am so late today. we got behind on everything this morning.
I just feel so badly for this man, he is alwasy so nice to everyone, he deserves better. Hopefully he will sleep a lot today since he was up all night.


sorry to be so down, but this really made me so sad this morning.


On the lighter side, you should have seen Minnie this morning. She did the fastest poo job I ahve ever seen due to the rain. She wouldnt even go out a tall the first time Greg tried. Then I tried about 45 miutes later when I knew she really had to go. She was a streak of lightning

Pixie just runs and plays in the rain, she doesnt care.
Now Minnie is all under her blanket in front of the heater trying to get warm.

Lesson learned, pay attention to dogs when they act up at night.

hope your having lots of fun with your mom and i'm sure the girls are loving having grandma around too

The girls had a blast...she watched Kierra play basketball and Alicia swimming so they loved that! Me and Glen went out for supper one night too which was nice.

Elizabeth came and helped me rake for a little bit. She's running a low grade fever and her nose starting running when she was napping.

Almost time to get the boys.

Jaime she's not doing well at all. You probably didn't read the previous messages but Stephanie took her to the doctor. Ear infection and a very red throat. They didn't culture it because she had to be on medicine for her ear anyway.

Here are some shots of the mountains:

The first 2 were taken on the chair lift. It is the same shot, the 2nd just has the cable out of the way. The 3rd was taken from the top of the chair lift. I zoomed in on the condos we were staying in. We went with 3 of our friends, so we all split the costs of the condo. It was a great way to save some cash!!!! Only came out to $31 per adult!!!! The 4th was taken from the balcony of our room.
