Thanks. She's an 11 year old Miniature Border Collie/ Black Lab mix with the BC looks & the BL size. She's my baby. Loves our family but growls at anyone else.

Pretty good but sadly no trip momentos this year

Maybe this year, on the day after Thanksgiving, I will wrap up my coasters and open them again!!!!! That way I will feel like I am at the Nannahead meet all over again!!!!!!!

Your pups are so cute. I don't have anything that I can post right now but will work on it.

When I found this thread and saw the 1st post about Nana's, I thought it meant Grandma's . I thought maybe I didn't belong because I wasn't one, but then I got further along and saw the posts about Banana's. Love to hear the story on that one someday. I don't think I will have the time to read all the previous threads and posts since you had quite a head start, but I will try to keep up with you from this point on.

no need about past posts, we are a small group for now and post everyday so you'll soon get to know us.

By the way I am a grandma of 4, Dawn has 3 grandkids, Jaime's kids are young still, Lisa doesnt have kids yet, Greg has 4 kids, no grandkids, Brantley, has kids, no grandkids, Jeff has 2 young girls.

But its just me and my DH (Greg) going on the cruise.
So even if it meant grandmas a few of us would qualify.

We are all YOUNG grandmas

Dawn usually posts around this time of night,so she will drop by soon.

Lisa and Jaime are in different time zones, so they post in the mornings.


They will be saying Howdy tonight or tomorrow.

Dawn has a furry 4 leggeded kid too!! SOO cute!!

this trip will be our 36th anniversary, so we are probably in the same age bracket

Thats somethng in common and the love of Disney.

Until last spring I was living about an hour from WDW. It was great. we still own a home in Florida but until the economy gets better we are in Oregon where Greg has work. He is in the home building industry.
we have family here and are living in our RV for now.

It is soooo cold here. I like Florida better.

We celebrated our 36th in August. We have a DD (35) & her DH (42), and our DS (21). DH is 64 and I am 54 almost 55. Will be celebrating my 56th birthday the 1st night of the cruise. No grandkids. DD is a campus police officer and her DH is a city police officer. They love kids, but don't want any of their own. DD helped raise her brother. She was 13 1/2 when he was born and was there for his birth. She knows it's not easy and with their type of job she doesn't feel it would be fair to kids. They both work night-shift. DS just graduated from Automotive Training Center and is working at a Transmission Shop. No plans for marriage at this time. I'm not worried about being a Grandma, eventually we would like to work for Disney and then we will get a fill of all the kids we can handle. We are still kids ourselves. Don't even think of pushing me off a curb at a Disney parade . I'm one of the biggest kids around & I will throw a temper tantrum if you try .

Just back from the 4 day October 19-23 Wonder cruise and rebooked while onboard for this cruise. It starts on my birthday so I thought that would be nice, but the price for this cruise was the best I could find too.

DH (Jim) and I (Bev) will be there. Can't wait. I can't believe how long it took me to get to the last page of all the threads. I started the thread for our October cruise in January of 08 and we still are on the original thread. You started this one almost 2 years before the cruise and we have over a year to go till then. I don't think I will ever be able to read all the posts.

I'm Greg, but will more then likely ONLY be going on this 09 cruise in my dreams.

My family and I are actually going on the 2008 cruise with the nanahead on Nov. 29 this year! ONLY 26 more days till we leave for Orlando!!

I've never cruised with any of these people before, but I've been posting on the DIS board with them for almost a year now, so it almost feels like we're family!

I've been fighting a bad cold for almost a week now, so I'm headed to bed.

Hi Bev, yep we are close to the same age.
My oldest DD works with disabled kids at school, my other DD is a phone rep for a phone company, DS is a manager at Joes sporting good store and my other DS is a manager at Big 5 sporting good store.

I dont work outside the home anymore. My last job was owning a pizza place, called Fat Rasa's.

My home in Florida has disney silouettes on the pool deck that my DH painted for me. My china closet was filled with all things disney. My kitchen cookie jars and canister sets are all disney. my guest room is also themed disney for the grandkids. My steering wheel cover had Mickey, Donald and Goofy on it.

In the front of my RV sit Mickey, Minnie and Goofy stuffed animals. King louie is swinging from the window in my bedroom.

when we lived in Florida we had 96 entrances into WDW in one year with our annual passes.
So I am a BIG disney fan too!!
