How are you feeling today? It freaks Alicia out when I loose my voice:confused3 She gets pretty upset at me.

I'm going allot better, but now Nicole has got it! :sad2:

She stayed home from school today and it looks like probably tomorrow also.

Jaime she's not doing well at all. You probably didn't read the previous messages but Stephanie took her to the doctor. Ear infection and a very red throat. They didn't culture it because she had to be on medicine for her ear anyway.

I feel for ya Dawn! :sad1:

We've been battling some sort of bug at our house for almost 3 weeks now! :sad2:

I guess I'm glad its happening now and not while we're on vacation! :thumbsup2

Ok, I think I'm caught up, but I'm to tired to try for the top.

Guess I'll have to get up early in the morning and take it!! pirate:

Good night. :faint:

Hi everyone. I like the idea about googling the tourism links. Most of the Disney Excursions seem to include snorkeling. I almost killed myself at the Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon a couple of years ago because I felt like I was suffocating I tried to breathe through my nose and sucked the mask to my face, then I panicked and opened my mouth to breath and the salt water rushed in around the snorkel. Yech & Blech. I also read up on the one where they have the helmets, but then I got to the bottom & it says not to do it if you have respiratory or heart problems. That leaves me out. Got to find something else that I CAN do.

Sorry I don't post too often. Between work and trying to read all the threads that I subscribe to, plus catch up with a couple of pages of posting on this thread there isn't much time left for me to post anything. I am reading though.

Is the story about the BananaHeads on one of the posts way back?

My DH Glen had a very similar experience at typhoon Lagoon and since then is not interested in snorkling. He did do some snorkling at Castaway Cay though and enjoyed it. He liked that they use life vest and that he can leave from shore and that there was a lot more room then in that tank!

Yesterday I saw an ambulance pull out of here and today I found out it was our neighbor Randy that i told you about.
It seems after they got him home and in his recliner, his friend visited for awhile, then left. when he came back 3 hours later to walk his dog he found him on the floor. He had tried to get up right after his friend left and felll, so he was laying there for 3 hours.

So 2 men got him semi sitting up and called 911.
They took him to the hospital then sent him to Portland for specialists to operate on his back. It is 50/50 if he will ever walk again.
he will be gone for weeks. he is all alone accept for his 2 little dogs.
His friend Rich who lives here is walking his dogs.
I feel so bad for the dogs too, they sit alone all day accept when getting walked. I hope Randys ex wife comes for them. If not I will ask Rich to let me in to play with them some, they do know me. If they get depressed from lonleness and stop eating it will really be bad. They are all he really has and he really loves them.

well thats my news for the day.
hope to hear good news about his surgery in a few days.

Pixie dust and prayers for him will be gladly accepted. He is such a nice man.

Hi Kathy:wave:

pixiedust: pixiedust: I sure hope the surgery helps him...no one should have to live with pain like that!

Hopefully it's warmer there today!

Hi Greg:wave: How's everyone feeling...are you all better? I sure hope so...only a couple weeks left now!

Did Nicole stay home today? Better to make sure she's all better!

Some morning bananas!

:wave2: Good Morning!

Kathy, that poor man! I hope someone comes for the dogs too! You and I both know that 'dogs' are just big babies. I worry about Alexis when we are gone for a couple weeks and they are with family! :scared1:

Greg, pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for your household...and that it doesn't move through again! You HAVE to be healthy in 2 weeks time!

Elizabeth was up from 1 - 2 and again at 5 this morning. I guess Stephanie put in a Cinderella at 5 and that helped. She has been given Tylenol and Motrin since she started running her fever but it hasn't totally taken it away. :lovestruc I've kissed her a few times so I hope I don't get it.

Jaime, so glad you're back.

I think we ALL better watch out for pranks! :rolleyes1

Got some sewing to do and try to finish up outside.

I'll be around. Have a great day.

Hopefully her fever breaks today...she started her med's yesterday right?

Just read about Southwest Airline flying 'Tinker Bell One'. It sounds really neat. How much fun it would be to be one that flight with children.

Today is laundry day here and I need to clean too...I'll check back later.

Morning all,

Dawn, I hope her fever breaks today, but i know it can take time to knock out those ear infections and throat problems.
One of my kids had a constant batrle with ear infections for 5 years. They are so miserable.

Hi Jaime, Nicole did go to school today, but she's still coughing?!

She said she felt well enough to go, so I gave her some cough drops to take with her and told her if she started feeling worse after she got to school to call me and I'd pick her up.

When she started showing signs of getting sick, a few days ago, I immediately started her on some antibiotics.

How's Keirra been feeling/doing lately?

Hi thought you guys finished your shopping a couple weeks ago?:confused3

OH I know your buying presents for your favorite nanaheads:love:

I didnt know you could bring large expensive items on board the ship, must be hard to store them until you can give them out.

Thats why you needed two rooms, to store all the nana heads Christmas presents:yay: :yay: :yay:

Hope Nicole is better today.
How is your voice, better now?? It would be so cool if you couldnt speak to defend yourself on board, I could really take advantage of that:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Just kidding, no fun unless you can fight back:thumbsup2

Kathy
