I am scarry enough without dressing up. No kids here anyway
Last year i wore my Mickey pirate ears and the little kids liked that.

Cassie and Cierrah were vampires. Savannah was a pirate. I passed out candy for a while and then drove them through a couple of neighborhoods. Staci stayed home and passed out candy while we drove around.

I even opened the dining room window and played Grim Grinning Ghosts for the trick or treaters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Kathy!!!!!

We had a great time!!!! We actually had a lot of kids come by tonight. It seemed like more than the last couple of years. Maybe because it is Friday. 3 years ago we were in the Magic Kindom at MNSSHP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always count each year how many kids we have. some places I have had 200.
Our house in Florida we had around 180 for 2 years in a row. I really loved seeing all the little ones.

Tonight Nobody, but that is what I expected, although i bought one bag of candy, just in case. Now I will give it ot the grandkids.

how does your dog like the kitties?
I had one dog growing up that loved cats and would snuggle with them, but my current girls hate them
Plus DH is allergic to cats

She barks at them right now and that upsets them. She knows they are new and is telling them she is boss, but they know better. They are a little skittish and so is our old cat. It will take time, but hopefully they will eventually learn to all get along.

Tonight may be Halloween, but our Trick-or-Treat was scheduled for last Saturday and rescheduled for Sunday because of rain. We were still driving home from WDW so we missed it. DD turned out the porch light before she left after taking care of the animals, so the kids wouldn't harass the dog by ringing the doorbell. We did our own Trick-or-Treating at MNSSHP on Friday last week. Got 3 bags of candy!

Checking in early this morning. We are going to ride up to Gatlinburg again today. It is not far, about a 3 hour drive. It is suppose to be in the upper 60's there today so it should be nice.

Good Morning! Good Morning!

Too much work to turn the computer on last night I left the boys watching Halloween movie on the Disney channel. I woke up at 11 and all the lights were on so I went in the livingroom and they were sound asleep too! I woke them up to go to bed!

Stephanie took some pictures and I have the camera. I'll see a little later if I can get them off her camera.

Elizabeth is here for the weekend! She's watching her morning Disney shows right now. Little Einsteins, Mickey and Tigger and Pooh. We go to swimming in less than an hour so I've got to get moving.

Like to see pictures Greg, Jaime, Brantley. Melanie was on the 08 site!

Good morning everyone,

well it is rainy today but not pouring rain. Greg may not get to the furnace this weekend anyway. He seems to have pulled a tendon in his right foot during the night and can barely walk

Hopefully it will be better tomorrow. He is walking but slowing and limping a lot and only got about 2 hours sleep.

I was right NO kids came last night so the grandkids will get extra candy when I see them.

Our busy day here as usual! Dancing and swimming. We had a late night last night because we went to a Halloween party...it was alot of fun though. The costumes at the party were amazing!

My mom is coming to visit for a few days so the girls are extra excited!

Jaime I will be looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Dawn, nope not fixed yet.
Greg started to pull it apart to fix it but it is rivited together from underneath and you would need a special long tool to remove them, just really bad to get to.

Plus they sent the wrong thing and so he just cleaned it up good and we are hoping it will work better now If not we will just buy a really nice heater for nights that you can set and it will go off when it reaches the right temp, then come back on automatically and use the others for daytime.

It would cost a small fortune to pay someone to fix it, plus when your living in it, it is hard to take it in.

we need to figure out something for when we are gone. cant have everything freezing while we are gone.

Just a quick hello

Had to get up and take some more cough medicine.

I think the antibiotics are starting to work....my throat doesn't feel as sore this morning, but the cough is still with me and my voice is as raspy as ever!

Kathy, I think your rain made it over here.....I can hear it coming down outside.

The weatherman said we could have rain everyday for the next week.

Ok, I'm headed back to bed.

Good Morning!

Looks like everyone was busy last night.

When we got back from dinner last night, Ellizabeth was playing with the boys, needed a bath and then we watched Little Mermaid II. She layed right down--not a whimper.

This morning when she got up, I got the biggest smile. I think she liked staying at nanas! When she saw dad at dinner, she cried because she thought she was going to have to go home with him.

Suppose to rain here today also but be unseasonably warm tomorrow. Haven't touched the leaves

Yes, Kathy, you should be able to get a heater that covers your square footage where you can set the temp and it goes on and off just like your furnace! They have ones that if it tips over it automatically shuts off--for the dogs--and cool to touch. They aren't that expensive either.

Elizabeth cuddled with me for a while. Now she's involved in Cinderella!

I don't have Kofi tomorrow so I'll have more free time! Break between library hour sessions too!
