:lmao: Our security system has a "chime" feature on it where it chimes if you open any of the outside doors. You might consider something like that so you can keep track of her.

Hey, that's a good idea! :thumbsup2

I was wondering Jeff what kind of surgery you had--thanks for sharing. They say that alot of things can be detected with regular dental checkups!

Jaime, sent you a PM.

We stayed at the Hawaiian Hilton Village in Oahu for 1 week. Went all over the island. Favorite was Sea Life Park. We snorkeled in Hanauma Bay. Spent a long time watching surfers. The boys were not old enough to go to the Pearl Harbor Museum. Spent a week at Kaanapali Beach Hotel (had a whale swimming pool). I have to agree, I liked Maui best. Did luau at the Marriott, watched surfers, drove to Hana and around the southern most tip of Maui, went to Wailua Valley (that was fun), watched the humpback whales from shore (we end of February, first of March--breeding season.) No digital back then. Have lots of video coverage!

The boy is in bed--better get to work!

Got it! Thanks.

Your right about the denist...they picked up on a cyst on Glen's sinuses...we were surprised...

Kierra was famous for little stunts like that:goodvibes When she was 25 months old...after I put her to bed one night she got out of the bed and hid in the hamper...once I realized she was missing it took me and hour to find her...she was fast asleep...I was in a panic:scared1: and Glen was away on business...

Well, I use to live in Brazil so I speak fluent Portuguese and can understand Spanish, Italian & French to varying degrees. My wife lived in Hungary and speaks fluent Hungarian and understands German.

No we're not worldly enough to know Japanese or Chinese though!! :rotfl2:

Good morning Nana's!!

Just got back from the dentist this morning and was sitting here with Holly listening to her talk. :woohoo:

This past week she has learned how to put a few words together to make a simply sentence........along with how to open doors!! :scared1: :scared1:

Yesterday my neighbor rang my doorbell and had Holly with her....Holly had opened the garage door by herself and was walking down the road when my neighor saw her and brought her back.

I've had to start locking my doors now to keep her inside. :sad2:

Maybe its time to install a GPS tracking device in her diaper?! :rotfl2:

Isn't it sweet to listen to them talk? Elizabeth uses alot of sign language.

Better hang on to that girl!! :scared1:

Well, we're into telling stories...when I lost a kid and the only time was Christian in WDW :scared1: He was probably 2. Stephanie, Skylar, Christian and I were walking to the bathroom beside Pinocchio's. Blink and where's Christian. I was beyond scared. Stephanie worked there at the time and she had cast members alerted in a matter of seconds. I didn't move from where I was. It wasn't 5 minutes and out came a cast member with him. Seemed like an eternity! I wouldn't let them walk without hanging on for years. If you notice in alot of pictures, they still do! He had walked into Pinocchio's. :confused3 It helped that he was wearing a very descriptive outfit. Red winnie-the-pooh jogging suit.

sign language is so great to learn.

I have always believed they should teach it in shcool.
There are so many deaf people out there and people who cant speak who use it.
When they have an emergency help is often delayed because nobody can speak their sign language.

If all kids were taught the basics and then in high school offered full class credit for it as a foreign language it would be awesome.

it would really help a lot of people out there.

My grandson uses some sign language, so I have learned some basic signs to help with him.

my books are packed for now, so no more studying for awhile though.

They take a missing child really serious there, I have seen them in search mode for a kid before andmy son has talked about it before too from when he worked there.
Usually they are really close to where they were lost.

although they have NO lost kids, just lost parents:lmao:

The room at each park where kids wait for lost parents is pretty cool and really distracts them until mom and dad arrive to get them. Some dont want to leave.;)

Sometimes that is the case though. Stephanie has told me some stories too. One father left his newborn in a stroller and boarded the train! Stephanie heard the baby and got the stroller to be near her. She couldn't leave the train station. She said that part of the family came back on the train and a couple others came running clear from the depot in Frontierland! They all thought the other had the baby!

There are some strange people out there.

I hear of kids every year in Florida who die because they wereleft in the car accidentally while the parent was at work.

Usually the spouse took the kid to day care but one morning the other parent was suppose to do it. The kid falls asleep in the back seat, they automatically drive straight to work and forget about the kid in the back til its too late.
Its really so sad, atleast at WDW the baby was ok:thumbsup2
