Good morning everyone,

well we had some weird thunder last night. It soundedl like sheet metal whipping around and I thought it was wind but discovered it was thunder.
It was a strange sound.

We do have some sun this morning but I didnt hear the weather so I havnt a clue what to expect today.

Today I am researching light weight cardigan sweaters on line. This time of the year you cant find one in the stores and mom wants one so I will see whats online. I just hate to have to return it through on line stores. It is such a hassle but it seems to be my only choice now.

Hey all! It was a beautiful weekend in the northeast!! It looks nice out today so I'm about to sneak out for a walk. Gotta lose a few more pounds before the cruise and I wasn't particularly good this weekend.

Hey, where is everyone???

The weather is beautiful here in the northeast! I am loving it. Its in the low 80s, low humidity and sunny!!!! I'm walking every day at lunch time. Central Park is beautiful at this time of year. I guess its a slow year for the horse carriage people because I was asked several times today if I wanted a ride. I'm dressed in a suit. Maybe they're expecting me to say "Sure, once around the park!" Horses are pretty though.

I'm here just nothing going on to write about today. I am watching the food network Challenge. They are making landmarks out of chocolate which is fun to watch.
I would love to try and do that but not 5 feet tall, more like 5 inches tall. LOL

I've just booked this cruise for my son Trevor and I. We are also booked on the west bound TA next September, but decided we could not wait that long!

The only other cruise we have done was a four day on the Wonder last October.

Haven't had time to catch up with all the posts on this board, but if there are plans for an FE or anything similar , we are game.

How old is your son? My DD is 9.

I'm jealous you're on the transatlantic but the dates just don't work for us. Of course I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for the Panama Canal crossing that they haven't even announced yet. Those dates work for us!

My son Peter is suppose to come by today and spend a couple of nights with us. So I will have some company but he probably wont show up until tonight. I figure just in time for dinner

He hasnt had a home made meal in a long time. Being a bachelor he usually goes out to eat. He wont be happy. First course is a salad here

Allison, my son will actually be 19 when we go on this cruise. He has Down syndrome, so his interests are usually the same as what a younger teen's would be.

We both LOVE Disney! Trevor (DS) is very excited to see the ship (and WDW) all decked out for Christmas.

No real plans here.....will probably spend the weekend up at the condo in Yellowstone and listen to the wolves howl while we're outside in the hot tub.

I love Yellowstone, accept for the smell of sulfer near the geisers and mud pots

I am off for moms today. Will check back sunday night.

I am still hoping the sweaters I ordered for her will arrive today before i leave. But I am not that lucky. They said 4 to 7 days and today is #5. So it will arrive tomorrow while I'm not here.

We were 95 yesterday and they say hotter today

Only upper 80's over the weekend then hotter again next week.

We have been saving and planning it for such a long time and at the moment we have a small group coming with us (mine & DF’s parents, my younger brother and a family friend). It’s a big trip for us all coming from Sydney, Australia and we are so excited as we have never even been to WDW or on a Disney Cruise
