Chuck, Snuck one in there huh!?! I had temporarily forgotten about the American Idol. What did you think about that?

I guess since Chuck posted so many nice photos we will let him take the top this time without too much complaining;)

Great photos.:thumbsup2

I am curious too, how was American Idol??

Dawn, you and i and Allison and Denise need to watch these guys now. No more tops for them:goodvibes
Kathy

We really enjoyed it, it was just like tv, judges and all. We saw the first show of the day, but wish we could have made the last show, this is the finale where the winner gets the fast pass to the front of the audition lines. We will definitely do it again next year when we go back. I can't believe we have to wait another year. We were spoiled in that we have been 3 times in the last 9 months.

We saw American Idol when we were there in April. It was great fun!

Jeff,

I see you are going to Hawaii, you doing a cruise or a land package?

All Land. We have been to the islands multiple times but mostly to Maui. It was easier with the kids to stay on one island. DW and I went to Kauai and Maui on one trip before kids but since then we have stuck with Maui alone. Soooooo this time we are going to hit three islands. Staying at the Westin Surfrider on Waikiki (Oahu) - where we have never been for four nights to start the trip. Then on to Kauai for six nights at the Grand Hyatt and then five nights at the Kea Lani in Maui (our fave).

Jeff, since your a DVC owner why don't you guys stay in condo's that have a lot more room then a hotel? :confused3

I guess our family has been really spoiled by condo's because the thought of staying in a hotel gives me the shivers?!....even if it is the Hyatt. :scared:

Let's see. Mostly we like the amenities of hotels and prefer staying in luxury properties when we are on vacation. Not that some condos aren't luxury but hotels are the way to go for us. Plus, there are only four of us so hotels are no big deal. The Kea Lani is an all suite hotel so we have a beautiful one bedroom suite. With regard to DVC - We use DVC for Disney. Trading out is not a great deal at this point in our lives since we go there several times a year, using our points at Disney gives us the most bang for our bucks.

Yeah, trading your points wouldn't be a good thing. I was meaning for flex change in II. I'm not sure how Flex works with DVC, but I get any size unit on flex for less then $200 for the whole week.

Our 1br unit at the Marriott Aruba Ocean club cost me $169 for the whole week with daily housekeeping and everything.....that frees up a lot of money to do other fun activities. :woohoo:

Happy Wednesday everyone,

well it just started sprinkling here:headache:
They didnt predict any rain, just said 75 today:thumbsup2

Things better change fast if thats going to happen.

Quiet around here today. Just doing some :laundy:

Never been to Hawaii yet. Just too many places to see and too little vacation time each year:love:

Back later,

Kathy:flower3:

Good Afternoon!

Slept in until 7:30 this morning! :woohoo: Woke up several times but closed the eyes and dozed again!

Elizabeth was over all morning--watched Little Mermaid II for the 18th time! :rotfl2:You know you're not young anymore when the every 20 minutes to the potty wears you out!

Hopefully this is the last day for the gloomy skies. Calling for sunny, warmer weather for the next 6 days.

Baseball tonight.

Hi Dawn,
glad to hear you had a nice easy morning.
Thats great sunny skies are headed your way. I hope you sent your clouds, wind and rain to Greg's house:thumbsup2

It has been sprinkling here all morning on and off but it's warm outside so not so bad.

I have been hassling with our movers who have stored our stuff so long now. I think we have it straightened out. But once things are out of their hands I am going on line to write a letter of complaint about them. There is a site where you can complain about movers.

I didnt know it existed when we hired them or I would never of done that. There was already over 30 complaints since 2008 about them:scared1:

Gotts run,
catch everyone later and get even with Greg as soon as I can.:rolleyes1

Kathy

ok gang, now when i get on line a pop up say Chuck Gordon wants to add you to his contact list.:confused3

The only Chuck I know is from this thread.
Is that you Chuck? I dont know your last name and didnt want to accept it if I dont know the person.

I had 3 of those today. One i knew , the other one said Greg with no last name so i deleted it and now this one.

If its not our Chuck from here I will not accept it.
Please anybody know if thats Chucks last name??

Kathy

Have any of you been to the Cirque show at Downtown Disney. Lizzie really wants to go but I'm not sure if we should all go or if I should just take her. I don't know if it's too "old" for Emily... Thoughts?
